Nice video Id suggest a higher tooth sprocket for those hill also techtro sells good brakes for cheap youll need like 120mm reach for the brake arms for a beach cruiser but youll be able to stop alot better I got to a point where Id only add those brakes

Common problem with these motorize bicycle is that the engine torque, no matter how much you tighten the rear wheel nut, every now or later the rear wheel will move a bit forward causing the chain to droop which in turn cause the chain to misalign or pop off when wheel moves. There's three ways of tackling or temporary handling the problem, don't used the idler pulley chain tensioner, 1.) just go straight from putting the chain to your rear sprocket to the engine smaller sprocket, just like a scooter or motorcycle way (the tricky part is you gotta get the chain length and rear wheel set all the way back as possible and the chain at the right tension or you will still end up with the same problem.) (check on youtube, start time 6:37 - 7:01 end time, "Are 4-Stroke Bike Kits better than 2-Stroke Kits? Let's find out!" ) or 2.) try using the ''arch idler pulley chain tensioner'' or 3.) use the ''spring idler chain tensioner'' (google and youtube it where to get it and tutorials on how to put it together or install it.).

So do you still currently have this bike (the DLX), and are you still running the stock 50/50 tires or did you change them to a more aggressive tread? I just tried trailing my '23 DLX with the stock 50/50s -and I'm sure you've noticed they do poorly on gravel/mud -they are fine for pavement though. Next spring I'm considering just changing to the tires that come on the Hawk X -oddly the base Hawk seems to come with the better overall tires...
