I put up burglar bars on 4 ground access windows, single dwelling. On the most vulnerable three I installed 1/4 lexan outside the window & extra 1/8 lexan inside. I sleep better now.

I wonder what the difference is between this and glass that has the film on it. I've seen videos showing the glass actually breaking on the film and eventually you can work your way through the film. Would hitting this with a sledge hammer eventually break it? If not, I would assume since it's not bullet resistant... that maybe you could shoot it and then proceed to hit the bullet hole with something like a sledge hammer, since it would be the weak point and then work your way through?

Can this be put on a car's window?

If I install this on a residential property in los Angeles, how hard is it to remove when I want to replace windows. I assume there's a space between the window glass and your product. Are there any issues with condensation in that space? I have a huge window covering an entire wall. Are there size limitations re your product?

It's interesting how architecture can be an indicator of peace and safety of a society. In medieval times, the rich spent their wealth on castles with only a few tiny windows, heavy gates and doors, and thick, stone walls. As law and order prevailed, mansions needed less protection, and stone and iron gave way to beautiful, expansive windows. The dark ages have returned, and heavy security is needed again. At least modern technology combines the best of both worlds: strong security but beautiful windows.

As strong as that glass looks you might need to have 2 locks on that door so that people can not pry open that door because now it looks like the lock is the weak point.

If we have an existing triple glaze window system, e.g. tilt-turn, can we replace the exterior glazing with AP75? What is the highest protection glass retrofit possible for a triple-glaze window system? Or can we supply your glass to the window manufacturer and ask them to install it before shipping the whole system to the jobsite?
