let's not compare this with tennis.. Tennis is a great game and should not be compared against badminton, ping pong, Padel, Squash or pickleball or any other paddle or racquet sport. I would suggest trying it once and then we can talk.

@@neerajpickleball I was not knocking tennis in any way. That sport is hard as hell.

@@ColwellNC1309 I agree, even get the basic serves take 3-4 months of training and almost a lifetime to serve like a pro.. matter of fact tennis needs more skills than any other outdoor sport thats why I feel said when people compare tennis with pickleball.. to me,. pickleball is close to ping pong and badminton with small flavors from tennis.

interesting point, I never realized this. But, when we see these serves on court, paddle motion is upward and the ball looks like it got hit right at the waist or below waist.. am i missing something?

You still can not throw ball up. It's not all about striking point.

I've noticed that if you watch pickleball on a video vs live the balls look much slower online. I just watched the pros play yesterday in person and I was surprised how much faster the balls are in person. I'd say this looks 4.0 but right at 4.0. Deep serves, deep returns, decent drops, fairly decent dinks and pretty good hands. Guy with orange shoes definitely solid 4.0+ in my opinion. Alot of missed ernie opportunities though.

if tennis is a good sport then it won't be destroyed by a bad one.

all sports are competitive, fun and improve lifestyle and health. no sport competing with another sport, I enjoy all sports. Tennis is one of the best sports.

@@SonOfAThreat takes court space and pickle.ball.players are very demeaning and demanding when there arent enough courts. But it is what it is and i agree i am wrong. A lot of peoplw.cannot play tennis is too hard. And lots of people will play more pickleball. In fact i played tennis since 12 i am 45 and im actually almost done w tennis . i been teaching for 20 years.plus. so i wont be playing i think cause i want another business and i prob wont play pickeball either. So i retract my comment and agree.with you a bad spot wont destroy a good one. Ps even if there is no courts for pickleball.available.u cannot ask us to move courts. Pickle ball.players just dont kick us out of the court until.we finish playing our match. Thank u . and enjoy ur pickleball. .

if you live in the North area, Prosperity Athletic club has nice courts. or you can play at Clarks Creek pickleball courts, this is a public park facility.
