Episode 2 is out! LET'S GO! Thank you so much to those who watched the first video. I hope you enjoy this one, I tried to put in a bit more effort into the editing -to make it more entertaining. It's a bit shorter than EP1 but much more jam packed with content!

So, I gave Caves of Qud a shot and really liked it. In this episode I give a rundown on what I know so far, and do my best to try and live as long as possible, however, it doesn't work out so well... Hopefully next time, I'll get a bit farther. Thanks for watching :D Music Used: "Ludwig's Lullaby" - Ludwig and Schlatt Music Emporium "FROST" - Alexander Nakarada

Hello, this is my first valorant music montage. Maybe I make more in the future with a little bit more editing. Right now I'm studying for exams so this montage was done briefly, however I still think it came out good. Hope you guys enjoy ! 🎵 Music licensed from Lickd. I too recently got into this game, I am enjoying your playthrough!
good to see more qud videos! just got into the game with the 1.0 launch myself(: a couple hotkeys that have helped me: numpad 0 - autoexplore the current screen hold alt - highlight notable items on the current screen hold ctrl before bump attacking - force attack instead of using the menus like you did in the video backspace - brings up the point of interest ui ` (the key next to 1 on the number row) - wait until healed ctrl + ` - select wait style menu
Great video. I'm really enjoying the quick pace of the editing. Slight criticism, I think the cutaways to quick memes are cute and fun, but they were too concentrated early on, with none in the second half. Maybe spread them out a bit more if the opportunities arise. Enjoying the series nonetheless!
Thank you for your feedback! Glad you're liking the series so far! :D
Nice! I see you using roleplay mode(good idea). You will die a lot! I've only played this game for around 30 hours so far. The game is extremely complicated. I would recommend exploring all the mutations. I would make your own characters from scratch instead of using the presets (you might think the mutations are OP. but they are actually pretty balanced). Don't be afraid to spend your points on cool mutations. I pretty much scrapped my first three characters until I was happy with the build for my current one. Right now I am playing a gunslinger that started with phase and force wall. I use phase/force wall to survive a crap ton of encounters. It is a pretty fun combo. My strategy is to trap myself or the creature in the indestructible walls and kill them with range weapons. Here is a tip I learned as well. While trading with the tinkerer of Joppa. If you hover your mouse over the recoilers. You can press 'C' to charge items with electricity. So once you complete the first three quest of the tinkerker Agryve. You can spend water to charge it. You can then return to Joppa at any moment no matter your location. This is a very handy feature. I won't spoil you. But I would definitely read through every mutation and try to make a build you find fun to play with. In my time playing. I haven't really experimented with true-kin yet. But just experimenting with mutants so far, I have had a blast! I've subscribed! Looking forward to the rest of the series. This game definitely has amazing replay value. Lots of tricks to learn and paths to take.
Oh yea. I should also note that there are ways to ruin your run even with roleplay mode. There are diseases you can contract and ways to get contaminated. The cures are randomly generated and need to be read from a specific book. So even with roleplay mode. There are ways to completely end your run. Whether that be a fungi infection that makes it so you can't use your gear or your tongue rots off and you can no longer communicate with NPCs xD. Luckily, with experience. You can solve these by preparing beforehand.
Very well edited video 👍
Thank you! I'll be putting even more editing for the next video. I'm rather excited to release it tomorrow and if you come back to watch, I hope you enjoy it!
Nice! I'd really recommend using the numpad to move/attack cause you can go diagonally in this game, if you don't enemies just get free hits on you. Great video!
Hey, I appreciate that! That's a great tip, I'll be sure to use it :D
Hi I have a keyboard without a numpad. Will this limit my enjoyment or ability to play the game? Thanks.
@@pwnville-jrb no probably not, on my laptop I bound a bunch of the letter keys in roughly the same shape to move around, or I think you can bind shift+arrow keys to go diagonally
@@pwnville-jrb nah prob not, i have a set up on my laptop without a numpad and ive just bound a bunch of the letter keys in somewhat the same shape to be movement keys, works reasonably well. Also default its bound with shift plus the directions to go diagonal
Love watching you play. How much have you played before? You're in for a treat if you like amazing world building and lore. The setting is super unique and the writing is incredible.
Hey, thanks ! I haven't played much but I'm loving it so far. Reading all the items and enemy descriptions is super fascinating. It really builds up the lore. I look forward to playing more !
