Unpacking the Latest Milkywire Carbon Credit Purchases
Can I hire you.. or someone here that has registered and gotten paid for it?
The good news is that eventually all the sequestered carbon dioxide will make it back into the atmosphere.
Is there any contact person who help me for this process in india
Good group and conversations as always, screenshots on some names and will followup and do the followup on the 27th! Riffing off Adam, are you aware of a well balanced climate change action? Decarbonization, Removal, blank, blank. The 4 pillars of a sustainable climate. (Maybe this exists, idk) via conservation, agriculture, mineralization etc. (que the scaleable co-op convo)
I’m hopeful for the emerging non-intermittent energy choices that may be appropriate for DAC and elsewhere in the near future that weren’t at the front and center of the renewable energy radar. For example, energy produced by the electron spin in the iron atom, commercially viable and certified (Holcomb Energy System), or energy from thermal vibration of the graphene atoms (Neutrino Energy Group). The International Energy Agency calls for the expansion of the global power grid by adding 80 million kilometers of new grid by 2040 for energy transition. More decentralized options are critical and should strongly be considered and deployed. The French court just rendered authorizations illegal for windmill farms (it was killing the fishing industry in France among other problems) and will likely prefer nuclear long-term. Our hybrid cryogenic DAC with embedded micro-CSP in development has the potential to upgrade nuclear to gas-gas reactors and replace cooling towers and cooling ponds in existing power plants. While the overcrowded photovoltaic market may be moving through its shakeout phase, Sahara could power the world with just a few days of sunshine and affordable transportation costs. It is possible to achieve this without elements of exploitation and neocolonialism from the West with proper regulations (Jawad Jafar, Stanford). Synthetic fuels share the same chemical properties as conventional petrol and diesel, they still release toxic gasses into the atmosphere when burned. Remember, when the fossil fuel industry emerged in the US, it was praised by environmental groups as a remedy to stop the killing of whales for oil -- here’s this new magic oil, plenty for everyone, no one has to die to get it and it’s natural. What will future people say about our climate remedies 50 years from now? Hopefully, they will live to tell about it. Thank you for the webinar.
I just finished watching this a year after this video was posted. The session was very informative and am appreciative of the sharing both the panelists and the audience gave. I am exploring my dissertation topic on this very subject of carbon mineralization. Learned a lot from this!

Hi! Getting carbon credits recognized by registries is a key step in developing a carbon removal company. So for this panel, we are going to explore how an entrepreneur got certification for her carbon removal credits, and also add a buyer's perspective on what they look for in certifications. Speakers include: Priya Bhullar, Co-Founder, Planboo Robert Ralph, Carbon Removal Partnerships Lead, Patch Varsha Ramesh, MBA Candidate, Harvard Business School (prev. Great talk, he conveyed to me the emotion that there is a very large market for biochar. Thank you!
Hi Tito, Jason and Adina! We love that these can be consumed time shifted!
Hello Sir Are you looking for a professional RUclips Thumbnail Designer? please let me know. Anyway, Do you want to see my previous work samples? When you are free let me know please Sir
These well meaning people are so naive. The idea that offsets can be commoditized and sold as a financial futures is shocking. The "externalization " of the problems is typical of economists. Only dollars count. Does that increase your sceptism? Players in a market that are not transparent. Seriously? Why does that tell you that the market is gamed? And i could not hear anywhere that carbon removal using any natural process, like growing crops or trees is explicitly excluded. Every growing thing in the biosphere , past, present and future, is already at 100% capacity maintaining the natural equilibrium of ~350 ppm. There is zero spare capacity to absorb industrial fossil fuel emissions. The idea that we can double dip and sell capacity that does not exist is simple fraud. Plant trees, save trees , grow crops by all means. It is a noble calling. But selling that sequestration capacity as modern " indugence " to emmitters is the same fraud as the Catholic Church did all those years ago.
so is it noble now or not? trees are in fact rather ineffective, if properly checked that should come up at some point during certification but we do for now live in a system where if oyu do something good you should get paid for it and if you do something bad you should pay for it, thats the way our systme currently works, thats how you get people to act

iron salt can be used as aerosols too mitigate the effects of methane, act as srm then it fall to the oceons and fertilize the Phyto plankton.,So theres a credit for reducing the effect of climate change , and then there's a credit for fertilizing the oceans
Great presentation, very informative. Good on you, Tim
Awesome episode!
Thanks very much AirMiners and the panelists. Very helpful Episode that I think many people will benefit from!
Very nice. I have only one note, a tree saves the co2 however there is a point where the tree releases the Co2 if you not cut it. Instead of letting it die so it releases the Co2 and can’t be used for wood it should be processed on time. People will always need wood and they wil cut the healthy trees that we need so much for a lot of aspects
I want to invest in your company

Charcoal is not Biochar
Hi! Thanks a lot for the insights you make in this video conference. I am wondering, once you have developed a methodology for accounting for C removals by standing biomass, which kind of entities should you approach so your methodology, whilst different from the existing ones on the field, can be supported or certified? Thanks!
Another great presentation.
