Over 23yrs ago, my mother gave me a book titled "Twilight Eyes" by Dean Koontz...At that point I had never heard of Koontz and didnt want to try a new author. However, my mother(who was an avid reader herself) said that maybe Id discover a new favorite author in Koontz and ya know what?? Mom was right!! Twilight eyes was an incredible read and Ive been reading Koontz ever since. And yes, hes my favorite author📖! Thanks mom😎

I didn't much enjoy this - it was as if Mark didn't want to be there. Also, someone who just writes and never plans is a total pain. I mean, why can't we all do this? Well we can, but the result would be dreadful ....

Kind of wish she was an agent , but on the other hand I'm glad to know there are editors like that out therd who seem nice and relaxed but passionate, so that when at that stage it seems less scary...hope that made sense. Typing on tablet with one finger while the other is holding garlic toast for my soup lol

Enjoyable listen, thank you all. Appreciated! Fascinating how different agents' practices are from one another. One reads sample chapters and query/cover letter last. Another only the query letter, rarely the manuscript (unless on the fence) - the latter being Jessica Faust from what I recall her saying. Extremely insightful for us aspiring authors.

Love Francesca! I met her on an Agent-1-2-1 and she was fantastic. Really enjoyed the episode. It was great to hear her go into so much detail about submissions and the querying process.
