I believe the idea is they’ll be as anonymous as possible and making it open source keeps it in a diluted state. There’s kinda a never ending battle if they’d actually wanna take legal action mind you it’s Activision so anything is possible.

That's exactly why cause it's better than the new ones and Activision was scared of a couple of modders when they have infinite money to make a game that doesn't compare to a free game made by a small dev team

I firmly believe the multiplayer already exists and is sitting in the Activision archives waiting for a rainy day. Considering the mod just got nuked will see how long it takes them to publish the official version since it seems so important to their pockets.

Depends on the type of player. Personally I don’t mind paying for skins if they’re of good quality and don’t break the bank too hard.

I’m always taking a look back at Paragon footage for Predecessor stuff it’s such a nostalgic time.

It’s unfortunate people just avoid ranked because of a few bad eggs. I totally get it tho hopefully things go more in a positive direction.

Personally I’d enjoy updates to the current map that way there’s consistency for the standard 5v5. Not a huge fan of like a rotating map structure for standard but I think brawl could definitely do different maps!

Nah we've known for awhile the order of og heros based on datamined kits since grim, and it's been accurate so far. That being said I wouldn't be surprised if its not an original for a gamescon reveal.

You’ll get all sorts of wacky and idiotic takes from people who just simply don’t care or understand the situation. I don’t have inside knowledge of the logistical implications behind the refunds but what I’d like to see if that’s not possible is compensation in someway. (Not fucking Amber lol) I agree like I said in the video the market was the PlayStation 4 community and I’ll be interested to see what kinda effect this has on the game in a player population aspect. Omeda said themselves they’ve had numerous players asking for help with the crashes on the PS4 so it must be quite the population right? Even though it’s a positive in the grand scheme of things it’s still sucky for the people who can’t afford a new console or prefer the console their on and I hope they can get back to playing the game we all enjoy very soon regardless if that’s on PS5 or migrating with the account linking.

Hey brother for starters I’m glad you decided to check out the video it means the world (Cringe ik but genuinely thank you). That’s awesome Smite was something I dabbled in wayy back in the day and occasionally on a blue moon the last years. I was always hoping for a newer version, Smite 2 could definitely be something I pick up in the future. Predecessor at least for myself and duo who also play around those demon hours. We are not considered west coast so it’s not as drastic of a reach but similar boat. 2am-6amish usually have a decent queue it’s about 5 minutes tops I’d say. Personally nothing has ever felt like Predecessor or its spiritual successor Paragon and I’ll always come back to it and play because of that fact alone I think it’s the best third person moba experience. I’d highly recommend another shot and I’m glad you’re doing so. It’s certainly got huge potential and even more so if it’s attracting such positive people like yourself.

I played paragon waaaaaaay back on the ps4 when it was in testing phase, I believe it had a card system when I stopped playing it. I enjoyed it quite a bit but ended up going the smite route. Now with smite 1 being out dated and not getting any new god updates and time between closed alpha play tests of smite 2, me and my buddy been lookin for something to play to scratch that 3rd person moba itch. Glad I stumbled upon this channel.

Plenty of great changes have been made to the game along with a welcoming atmosphere. There’s plenty of rough edges tho. I won’t deny that and it doesn’t only stem from the game itself but the community as well. That being said there’s always cons unfortunately but don’t let the small things taint an otherwise good experience.
