Jace's Birthday & The best Outdoor Hot spring! | Canada
This part of our drive from Utah to Alaska was by far one of my favorites. I loved visiting Banff and Jasper but celebrating Jace, experiencing the outdoor pool at Liard hot springs, and seeing all of the animals along the way, it was pretty special.
We saw multiple black bears along our drive and lots of Bison and even their babies. It always makes the drive more fun when you see wild animals along the way.
Stopping at Liard hot springs was quite the eperiance. You enter into an area surrounded by a bear fence. Then you have a great changing area and hop right into the natural hot springs. You can get really close to the hot area or go farther down the pool to cooler spots.
After the hot ...

48 hours in Jasper National Park | Alberta Canada

On our drive from Utah to Alaska we stopped in Jasper National park for a few days. We packed a lot in, in a short amount of time. We explored the Maligne Canyon, had a wonderful lunch by the river. Relaxed at the Miette Hot springs, and Paddle boarded on the Maligne Lake. We also loved exploring downtown Jasper, it was a small town with plenty of gift shops and yummy food. We loved our time he...
Fall Hike to Barbara Falls | Eagle River Alaska
Просмотров 1849 месяцев назад
One of our favorite hikes to do here in Alaska because it is easy, nice groomed trail, and it takes you a huge waterfall. So on days where it's rainy but we want to get out and see the beautiful fall colors this is a great option. We also explored some other trails nearby too. Highly recommend doing this hike, its only 45 min from Anchorage and not too hard to find. It's called South Fork Falls...
WE SKATED ON A FROZEN LAKE IN ALASKA!! | Rabbit Lake
Просмотров 48510 месяцев назад
One of the coolest experiences we have had here in Alaska. This opportunity does not come around often. The Lake up at Rabbit Lake was frozen before the snow hit. Most of the time before it freezes the snow is already there. So this gave us the perfect opportunity to go out and skate the most perfect wild ice. It was about a 9 mile round trip hike. It is not difficult and only a few areas do yo...
Beautiful Alaska Fall Hike | Eklutna Lake
Просмотров 4210 месяцев назад
Travis and I headed up to Eklutna Lake one beautiful fall day in early October. Fall is so short here, just a few weeks, so we had to take advantage of the colors before they were gone and the snow came. We hiked the Twin peaks trail up to the first bench. You can continue on this trail to the summit but the bench is a great place to have lunch and turn around. It was definitely a very steep hi...
Shotgun cove trail | Whittier Alaska

We had a beautiful sunny day in October here in Alaska so we headed down to Whittier to hike the Shotgun Cove trail. When I researched this trail on All Trails it said it was just a couple miles and took about 90 minutes to complete. I figured it was a nice stroll along the cost but did not realize how up and down the trail would be. It was a lot more difficult then we expected and a lot longer...
Exploring the Kennecott Mine | McCarthy Alaska | Wrangell St Elias National Park

Happy 4th Of July Weekend! We headed to McCarthy located down a dirt road outside of the town of Chitina. The drive out there is absolutely beautiful but getting to the town of McCarthy will take your breath away. The small town of McCarthy is full of history, old buildings, and very dog friendly. We had fun exploring the museum, swimming in the swimming hole, and spending time at our campsite ...
THE MOST BEAUTIFUL HIKE IN ALASKA! Harding Icefield | Exit Glacier
Просмотров 133Год назад
My Friend Natalie and I decided months ago that we had to hike the Harding Icefield before summer was over. Well August 19th was the day. We drove from Anchorage bright and early and started the trail around 9am. It was already getting busy with people and throughout the day it got busier. But the hike itself is so magical you don't even notice. 8.2 miles round trip and it took us about 9 hours...
SNOW IN JUNE! | Independence mine | Hatcher Pass (MUST visit in Alaska)

The last video from our time with family. We were so blessed to have family come visit us back at the beginning of June. Crazy to think in June it was still covered by so much snow. We visited the Independence mine, p...
THE COOLEST TOUR IN ALASKA | Matanuska Glacier | Alaska

The Matanuska Glacier is the largest glacier accessible by car in the United States. It begins 27 miles and thousands of feet higher than the valley floor and is 4 miles wide. This glacier was the first real "Awe" moment we had here in Alaska on our drive up and has stuck with us ever since. With family in town, we had a great opportunity to take a tour and walk on the glacier as we learned abo...

Back in June my family came to visit. We had a few days to explore both Whittier and Girdwood. Whittier was rainy per usual but it is always one of the coolest places to explore. There isn't a ton to do there on a rainy day but we definitely m...

We toured the town and then headed back to Moose Pass where we stayed the night at Midnight Sun Cabins. We enjoyed our stay there and it was a fun spot just off the main road. It's a good spot about 30-45min from Seward. The next morning we got on our boat to see th...

    Hi love the vid, was just wondering what certifications you had to have to do this and how much it cost?

    • @caspersoncrew
      @caspersoncrew 10 месяцев назад

      The company we went through requires either dive certification or open water snorkeling certification. They offer a course to do this if you aren't dive certified. Not sure what the current rate is now so I would contact the company and ask. Highly Recommend it! But make sure to take motion sickness medicine before.

    💕do we need an AWD car to drive on these roads?

    • @caspersoncrew
      @caspersoncrew 10 месяцев назад

      Most of the roads are paved and in great condition. The one road we took to look down on the valley was short and i would recommend at least a suv or Truck to take that. But it is not a road you need to drive, Just a side road for a view.
