This was by far the most helpful video I've seen on this topic! Most do not explain the cumulative line and that's what I was unclear on. Thanks for this!
Wouldn't the SMART aim be improved upon if reworded to have baseline match the target/goal? "Once a week" is a different method of measurement than "average of 30 minutes every day". If the person is currently exercising for 60 minutes once per week, this could be converted to daily average. Or the target goal could be changed to number of times per week, so that the SMART aim would be to increase from 1 time per week to X times per week. Also, it's better to have a set date as the target completion rather than "in X weeks" because there is no immediate easy way to know when the project started, so having a set calendar date will eliminate possible confusion. That said, the real examples are good!

What is PDSA? It is PDCA only.....just changing word CHECK with STUDY is not an invention....
Its the same as PDCA. The initial word was PDCA. In recent times the more commonly used nomenclature is Plan-Do-Study-Act. Study involved more that just Checking. But overall the terms are interchangeable
