I HATE crocheting blankets, (i usually use my knitting machine for them, but it's out of commission) but I've just started one for my niece.. been promising her a blanket for a few months. 😅 I'm trying so hard not to have a bunch of WIPs going on but a blanket is so hard to stick to for me! 😅

I watched TL yarn craft and her mom the other day they were so funny, cool how her mom can knit and not look down at her project. I've never made a wearable before and I just started a cardigan and I didn't get two rows in before ripping it out several times for some reason my numbers weren't adding up so I've restarted and it seems to be going better but i'm only on the third row so fingers crossed it goes better.

You showed the finished neck gaiter in your last video, I ended up making myself one for when I'm outside walking the dogs in the cold, i'm in Delaware USA so it's not as cold as Canada but I wanted something for checks and nose but I don't like anything tight on my face and neck so I used a bulky 5 and it was so thick it stays up on it's own without really touching my face but does a great job blocking the wind, so thanks for the idea.

I would think wool would be ok even for a vegan since the sheep needs to be shaven yearly in order to be comfortable, it's a form of abuse not to shave them since they mat and it pulls on their skin and is painful and when it's really long have a hard time walking.

New subscriber 😊 I have been crocheting gifts for my family for the past 3 years or so and I loveee giving them handmade stuff. Makes it so special and personal. I’ve been crocheting ponchos, hats, scarfs, a mushroom bag etc. This year I’m making a flower sweater, tie front top, Christmas ornaments and a scarf!

Dish scrubbies, the round type using hobby lobby scratchy yarn. People go gaga for them. I'm making granny square pot holders out of cotton yarn. Soap holders are another good gift. Scrunchies, hats, scarfs, bandanas and hats. I think I will let my family pick what they want instead of me picking. Padded hangers would be another.
