Yes! I do love to keep the mess in the kitchen. I would like it to open a bit to a bar area only because it’s very small when we have company over, but it really doesn’t bother me that it’s a completely separate space. Kinda nice to forget about the dishes for awhile haha 😂

Yay for the remodel but boo for the broken washer ☹️ I hope it gets fixed soon! I was without a washer for a couple weeks recently and it was tough haha 🤪 Thank you! It’s so true, the more space you have, the more you convince yourself you need to fill that space. I am thankful for a cozy home that forces me to downsize and reevaluate what’s really important 🥰 Can’t wait to hear how the remodel goes!

Yes it’s so hard when it’s so hot. Georgia can get so hot too! And with no rain, it’s a struggle. I think the kids are still having fun though. We have been trying to fill up little splash pools and use the hose or find other ways to cool off haha. But there’s not much we can do about the weather. At least our kids are safe inside. It will be cool enough soon enough 🥰

I have a mattress pad but I am not sure what brand as it was a gift. It’s just the plastic top ones though and it works really well. I have loved the bunk beds. We found the ikea ones on Marketplace and they are so nice. I love that we can use the space underneath as play space too. They worked well when they shared a room and now too. Let me know how your spring cleaning is going! It’s hard to get it all done but so worth it when you do haha 🥰
