In 1963, John Petts listened to the Sunday evening news on the radio. John a stained glass window artist responded to the headline news of the murder of four young girls in a church bombing in Alabama, by creating what became known as the Wales Window of Alabama. The Window was paid for by the people of Wales donating money to a fund set up by the Western Mail. The Window became a gift from the...

The end of childhood as young soldiers sit and wait for the signal to go over the top into Mametz Wood in the Battle of the Somme 1916. The voice of Lorraine King - eight years ago, made me emotional then and still does today.

Lovely. Came across this excellent documentary 7.00 this morning. Lovely to see Dai and Snowy. Been a long time.
In 1976-77 I was the roadie for Cromlech, driving them to gigs in pubs and clubs. I remember Tommy's enthusiasm and gravelly voice, which he has not lost. Great times. Diolch'yn Fawr Cromlech.
So, you’re celebrating the murder of the king. Very Christian.
Whatever happened to Geraint Pillock? Now there's a challenge.
Great idea. Nice to see our history being celebrated for a change.
The Memory of Childhood when Tommy Lived in the Flat above my Nanas in Uplands and would sing these songs pretty much sure the Old Swansea Folk song was my Lullaby tho I wasn't Convinced it was you until I heard you singing it in this.
Brilliantly emotive song.

Harriet Earis
Many years ago my English teacher had been reading a science fiction book late in the evening. It was a hot night and she decided to go for a walk down by the river to cool down and clear her head. Walking towards her were these huge beetles. I am not sure how she reacted but she was very frightened until became apparent that the beetles were in fact coracle men returning home from their fishing on the Towy.
What are the costings for the Kidwelly move, what do the people of Kidwelly pay and what are you going to pay?
Kidwelly taxpayers have paid in excess of £6,00 for this, including the planning permission application and additional reports required, and there may well be more taxpayer expense. The Shed's contribution is via grants I believe. I don't know if they are personally investing anything.
Did you play with Geno Washington?
I remember meeting you with Cromlech on the Welsh bus to Lorient in 1994. I was in Pencerdd at the time. We disbanded shortly after, but continued to meet occasionally till Simon Owen died.
I thoroughly enjoyed watching this documentary. I was particularly moved by the lovely coraclemen song and the black and white photos at the end, that I am in the process making a coracle. Cheers from New Zealand 😌
Thanks for the great comments - good luck with your project. We put the song together especially for the video and a audio book that will be released soon. Thanks again.
I remember your lovely deep voice on the song about the SS Agnes Jack. Some great music, also on the Cromlech recordings.

Sorry but it has closed a few years ago. There are plans to re-open and re-locate to Kidwelly once the pandemic is over. Thanks for watching.
