My two cents on some of the discussions. 1. First off, One Piece is at See Doctor generally or Need Antidote when you see a Zoro vs Sanji debate. I gotta give my respect to Tracy, man is a more devout One Piece fan than me. Saying the anime pacing is fine and that being the only major-ish flaw is just nuts. One Piece is definitely toxic especially within itself cause of Zoro vs Sanji fans, Admirals vs Yonko fans, Mihawk vs Shanks fans, and others that I can't remember at this moment. Also quick end note, I'm surprised to hear Preston say that Luffy is stronger than Naruto, outside of relatively niche powerscalers, no one is really willing to go out and say that. 2. HxH fans are at See Doctor. I'm with Preston, if you're of the opinion that HxH isn't as good as people say it is (and what they say is that HxH is the best thing since sliced bread and that Nen is perfect), and you give some pretty valid reasons why it isn't, they will just not see it or care or even engage. They will just say you have trash taste, not even a good rebuttal. 3. Naruto fans are in Need Antidote, but only in regards to powerscaling, generally they're at First Aid. I will say, in regards to the actual story, Naruto fans tend to use the fight choreography as a bit of a crutch when explaining why it's good despite the major story flaws, especially in Shippuden. 4. I can't say much for FMAB, but seeing Joe crash out like that and the few instances of MAL related shenanigans with mass down voting, they give a pretty good case for Need Antidote to RIP. 5. DBZ is probably the most RIP when it comes to powerscaling, otherwise it's at First Aid. I haven't seen people rage why DBZ isn't in anyone's Top 5 or 10. I do think some DBZ fans tend to downplay that Goku has a sliver of toxicity in his character, the whole endangering everyone for the sake of a good fight, like giving Cell a senzu bean. We expect it more from Vegeta cause he's a reformed villain and that's more in line with his personality but some people are in denial when people bring up that Goku does it at times. It's the Goku fans and the ones who started pushing the whole "Goku solos" trend that make it the most RIP. It's like how lately commenting "Anti Spiral" is doing the same thing. So yeah, thems my thoughts. Good discussion overall.
