What an absolute 💩 race! I tried my best to push the kart to its limit during the qualifying and race but found no improvements. I was really looking for good results but fell short. whats the breaking zone for t1? I have race 9 in reverse this Saturday
For T1, the very slightest tap or off the accelerator as you can. It's really kart-dependent, too, because the feel of a kart can or cannot give you the confidence to send it hard.
@@NFXRACING thanks man, been struggling this season, got 2 podiums at the start of this season than my kart failed on one race, then I drove straight into the dirt off a 3rd place qualifying lol. this will help alot, thanks!
What days do you run? I’m thinking about running next season on Sunday evenings
I'm currently racing on Thursdays! From my understanding, weekends are very busy dates!

happens quite a lot here, frusturating but sometimes your engine sucks

Carts are so much not the same speed, doubt slip steams do any thing.
Drafting does tons in karts
You should post the highlights of practice and qualifying then the full race!

Do you have tips for racing reverse?
Reserve track is around top speed down the the straight, while managing wheel rotation and breaking through the corners. It's really important to optimize how you prepare each corner entry.

Reverse track is literally all about the karts top speed 😞
I really like the reverse track! I perfer it way more than the regular course!

For Arrive and Drive I race on Sunday mornings but I normally only do club races.
I got a 38.705 is that good? Btw what's you fastest lap?
38.705 is a great lap time! My best lap I've recorded this season was 38.383, but I have a couple of buddies who've managed to set low-mid 37s, which is insane!

Goodwood used to be incredible but ever since the new owner "Dan" took over I myself quit and I've had 7 friends leave already as well. Might as well go to mosport honestly goodwoods trash now

Another driver in my race had the same issue. But I think they realized after quali. They asked for another kart but had to start from last. They're usually top of my split anyway and ended up coming in 3rd. 😅
Unreal how much a slight repair can have on the karts!

@@NFXRACING ty! I got qualified 5th since the guy ahead of me took me out on the rain and I couldn't avoid it but I managed to finish 2nd so pretty good result overall 👍

Nah those are slow
this is awesome! I just raced these karts yesterday and they were so solid feeling. They feel so much heavier than the previous arrive and drive karts but they are so incredibly grippy and fast. I was tracking my lap times and I was consistently getting 38.5-39.8s with my fastest lap being 38.3 so they are just as fast as the previous karts when they were first brought out! Really hope you are enjoying them as much as I did yesterday!
I really enjoy these new karts! I'm definitely feeling the weight and stiffness of them but I am happy to see that they're comparable to last year's karts. I'm really looking forward to racing this year!
