Im copper deficient as are not people. Lets look at India. They put lemon in their copper overnight & are ok. They use copper to cook & utensils. I would think you would taste metal if it had too much copper. Wouldnt you?

Best use for a decanter buy a bottle or 2 of some more expensive bourbon like eagle rare then by an ultra cheap bourbon like JTS Brown at $9.00 a bottle then pour the JTS brown into the decanter and put it up right next to the eagle rare. Invite your friends over and tell them you got some really good bourbon (which you did when you got the eagle rare you just didn’t say you would serve it to them) serve the JTS brown from the decanter and see if they can tell or have the balls to call you out and tell you it taste like ****.

How about pouring your red wine through a coffee filter? This would catch all of the sediment and allow the wine to slowly drip into the container, aerating it thoroughly.

The title is the same as “seagull vs bird vs crow” or “Toyota vs car vs Honda”. All three are whiskey. Scotch is whisky, bourbon is whiskey, Irish whisky is whisky, Canadian whisky is whisky.

Hang on, wait. Unless I missed it or am completely wrong… in order for whiskey to be considered bourbon it must also be stored in brand new American oak barrels, never reused. Other whiskeys might be placed in recycled, and certainly bourbons can be double oaked or toasted, or placed in rum casks, etc. on their second round. However, the stringent requirement for bourbon to be in new oak barrels is a qualifying factor along with the mash bill being 51% minimum of corn. Most have a much higher mash percentage around 70% which gives bourbon a smoother pull and experience. Along with the versatile mash combinations of barley, rye, and wheat it separates itself strong with unique expressions compared to Scotch. The video also did not include that Bottle in Bond requirement of 4 years minimum with 100 proof/50 ABV was designed to have it gov. regulated for QC. Lastly, while bourbon is generally cheaper, most bourbon connoisseurs drink slightly more expensive bourbon than entry floor offerings and at a much higher proof than 40 ABV. Many enjoy cask strength and barrel proofs along with private selects, state or store picks that are all quite special. Nothing wrong with a 93/94 sipped near that’s a banger, but lot people seek the flavor bombs of 100-120+ proof with a rock/cube or neat to sip. After sipping on a 115 and enjoying the nose and expressions a 80 proof Scotch is as easy to drink as Diet Coke. Just my opinion, and I grew up on Scotch and my family is Scottish, removed by only one generation on my mom’s side. *I could be absolutely wrong tho! Just my $.02.
