We gonna take the South Shore Line to Downtown Chicago to take Amtrak Hiawatha Service to Milwaukee. I want to take the other Amtrak trains myself so i could order us the roomettes. We love to travel a lot.
Are they still fixing the train station at Homewood?
Amtrak are my favorite. Me and my hubsand are taking the Hiawatha Service tomorrow morning to Milwaukee. Glenview is a great spot to railfan it there.

@@tyhik9338 wait, I meant the 🥇 Highliners made by Nippon Sharyo that said “NICTD” that have those side 🚪
@@joshuafajardo5697 yeah the early 1200s from 05/06, they had a lot of character in them.
@@joshuafajardo5697 the original highliner cars that I was talking about the St Louis Car Company and Bombardier were the ones that were retired in 2016.
I love taking the South Shore Line from Michigan City to Chicago with me and my wife. Thank you. 👍

i got stranded at Dyer station once because i accidentally missed the train because it was running late ... i had not much money left, so i had no choice but to sleep inside the station for two days ... one of the worst moments in my life

Thank you for doing these Metra videos. My favorite. I see that you're lines are the Metra Electric lines. Mines are the UP lines including the BNSF line.
@@EmilyW-2000 Another line close to me is the Rock Island District & my fav place to film outside of Chicago is Joliet in general but specific to the RID is LaSalle Street 🚉
My son is special needs and he loves trains 🚆🛤🚊🚂🚃🚄🚅🚇🚈🚉🚝🚞🚋 they're one of his favorite things in the whole world 🌎! He finds those bi level electric trains very interesting and thinks they are highly underrated rail transportation vehicles. He also thinks that the part of the Virginian Railroad that used to be electrified should be reelectrified and the departments of transportation should run these on it and the part of the Milwaukee Road Pacific extension that was electrified as well.

I visited this station and it was awesome because we went across the streets to those shopping stores. Thank you for your help. Cold Stone Creamery was not too far from there so we walk there.

I would take this Metra rail line home when I stay in the Roseland area to avoid catching the Red Line.
I didn't know that Amtrak comes down this way at all.

Amazing Metra Station, I bet it's beautiful during the day time. Winnetka have an amazing station including Indian Hill except for Hubbard Woods. Elmhurst and Arlington Heights are my favorite.

@@joshuafajardo5697 Winnetka is a fantastic station because you can cross over to the Green Bay bike trail. Elmhurst is my favorite station. Wheaton is awesome too.

@@EmilyW-2000 Flossmoor, Homewood, Olympia Fields, Calumet, 111th Street/Pullman (only during Pullman Day), 55th-56th-57th, McCormick Place, Museum Campus/11th Street, Van Buren Street, & Millenium
Flossmoor station is very nice, and there is a very good restaurant and microbrewery within the station. Lots of nice railroad memorabilia inside! The village is also very nice, and if you come during the day you can browse the various shops across from the station.

I think that's the morning train i take to Champaign-Urbana IL. Train No. 391 great footage. I also love the Amtrak Hiawatha Service to Milwaukee.
