I get a laugh when people think you need a car size engine in a bike to dare taking it on the highway. You can tour on a bike that has an engine half that size. How do I know this? Because decades ago that’s what riders did. Plus current engine technology is light years ahead with current bikes compared to decades ago. I remember people thinking a 4 cylinder car couldn’t handle going down the highway. Well, I’ve travelled for 10s of thousands of highway miles in the 60s with a 4 cylinder car, no problem.

i just bought a 2025 adv 160 saturday. and i think i have more leg room on it than i do on my silverwing. but my seat is a nightmare to open. going to take it back in and let them adjust it. and that seat if the most uncomfortable seat i have ever ridden on. may have to look in getting something else. but i love the bike.

Interesting, I'm a little over 6'2" with 32 inch inseam and don't really find it to be that comfortable but I do weigh 228 lbs so that might have something to do with it, my knees are about up against the dashboard

I don't understand where you folks get the idea that you can't tour on a bike like the Vulcan 900 LT. Touring isn't about getting on the Interstate and running 80 and 85 miles per hour all day long. Touring is about finding back roads and riding along at 60 miles per hour and enjoying the ride. When I was younger, I toured on a Honda CB350 and had a blast. The definition of touring needs to be refined so it doesn't include speeding down an Interstate highway. Touring is also enjoying the Tail of The Dragon and like roads at your own pace. Life is short and motorcycles are expensive to repair; enjoy the ride for a change.

Of course you can't compare this bike to a 1700, but you can still ride across the country comfortably and safely. The idea that you can only tour on a 1500 plus bike is a misconception by this new generation who have no idea what we used to ride decades ago. Thanks for the video btw.

For me the Honda is way ahead. They're the only Japanese bike manufacturer that have changed their pit bikes in 20 years. The fuel injection is a game changer. I'm an adult rider and I race my 110, typically the 3l fuel tank will last me 2 full race days. You just need to tune the suspension, add protection and put tall bars to accommodate an adult

Wish Kawasaki would put a 1328cc in the Vulcan 900 frame.

I have to agree, as a past salesman of many different products, I would never say this isnt a real touring bike, especially one that is listed and sells as light touring, as the name suggest. Many of us prefer to ride on highways as opposed to interstates, where this bike runs perfectly fine. Anyway, its a wonderful bike and has stood the test of time for decades now.

The 2022 Honda CRF 110 was listed for 2,495 at JONES POWER SPORTS IN. DURANT OKLAHOMA!!! I can't pay 3300 for a 110 !!! Way to much!!!! 2023 prices have skyrocketed on everything!!! WAY TO GO BRANDON BIDEN!!!!!

The lady is 100% correct. I own a 2021 and it's perfect for my riding style. I ride in the Rockies outside of Denver. If I stay mostly on the secondary roads no problem this bike is a great ride. If I try staying up with my buddies on their HD Road Glides on I-70 with them setting their curse controls at 85 mph their is no juice to pass with my 900. You really can't expect a 10K bike to do what 30k bike will do. The HD's have to wait up for me. My bike has been flawless and my local Kawasaki dealer in Denver is top notch. If you like a relaxed ride on secondary roads this is the bike for you, If you like pounding out miles on the Interstate get a Goldwing, BMW RT or a HD Road Glide I have been riding for 56 years on Honda's, Yamaha, Kawasaki and BMW's. Stay safe!

I have 2022 kawasaki vulcan classic lt, it cruises on the highway just fine, don't expect to go over 90 mph because the ecm will keep it from going any higher. I added highway bars, passenger floor boards, luggage rack, and the gel seat. It's a great bike, I enjoy riding it.

Just bought that exact model and color to complement my '22 Adventure KLR. Put a tall windshield and a GoCruise2 throttle lock to make my 240 mile trip home ezier. I started feeling a little discomfort in the seat at about mile 180. I am 68, 6'1" and weigh 245. The shift lever is about 1" longer, which is very good. I will install a 14" stainless oval Delkevic slip on and a 3D Cycle Parts power outlet ($35). I also placed a Chase Harper model 4000 tailbag on the rear rack ($70 ebay). It is roomy enuff to carry tools/rain gear/small air compressor/fones, etc. KLR's are an all around great value motorcycle which will last years.

I've ridden over 50 years...north of 30 bikes...well over 250,000 miles...when I listen to a young rider explain that a 900 cc cruiser, with bags and windshield, isn't quite up to snuff for touring , I have to chuckle...I've traveled the entire eastern seaboard, bottom to top , including Canada on a 700 cc...I remember back in the day, articles written on coast to coast travel on a 350 cc...To make a statement that this bike isn't suitable for long distance travel is absurd, to say the least...But mis information isn't anything new on utube...Ride safe...
