Multiple Retaining Wall Project Update
🌞 Good Saturday Morning Update! 🌞
We’re making great progress on our retaining wall project! The first wall is complete. We’ve made the necessary excavation for the wall above, and we’ve added a few more blocks to wall #3. Despite the dust and our hopes for a bit of rain to settle it, we’re perfectly set up to continue work on Monday.
Next week, we'll dive into the footers and drainage. We aim to have everything finalized for the final reveal within two weeks. Stay tuned for more updates as we bring this project to a close!

Good afternoon! Amazing job. i’m doing a driveway culvert. Would you recommend using the same method for a driveway? Or the driveway may be a bit too small for this. Also, as far as drainage, would I need to put any weeping tile at the bottom or would 3/4 inch clear gravel be sufficient?
I understand the principle of this, but by doing this it means that you can't install a geotextile between the soil and the gravel so surely the gravel will clog and not drain?

You install geotextile fabric behind the crushed rock, separating the dirt from your 12”+ depth of crushed rock. As. your wall goes up you don’t put crushed rock on the last 12” of height. Lay the geotextile fabric on top of the last layer of crushed rock and put your on top of the fabric.
