Hi, yes you can, but may need to reduce settings and would have a lot of frame drops and stutter. It's very heavy loaded and my old pc 2070 super struggled. Nolvus is constantly being updated so I'd wait till you maybe get an upgrade? I have the full modlist auto installed , but you can take some away. This might reduce the experience though 🤔

Hi, are you able to load the game up at all? My VRAM is set at 6gb , you could try that and also ensure nothing is running in background

It works really well, no issues here. Some stuttering here and there. But yes you can play without a problem

@@Halmi0o7 Hi no not at all, you just need to enter the BIOS and change from 4gb to 6gb. If you search for, LEGION GO 6GB VRAM change on youtube it should give you instruction video

I believe it's the game itself that's the problem. I have an rtc 4090 gaming PC and even on that there's the odd stutter

Changing VRAM will give more virtual memory meaning better textures and fps. Close all background activity not required. The thing is, Legion GO uses Window's, but is a gaming hand held, so you can up the VRAM TO 6GB or 8GB. I personally found 6gb best option. Once you have changed it, you can leave it at 6gb

No negatives at all. Positives are you'll get a better experience for your games. Try it and see how you feel. It won't break anything that's for sure

Not had any issues to be honest, and that's just playing as is. Tried it with the latest drivers and works really well. It's awesome on hand held to be fair. Not tries lossless scaling yet

Disable the mouse and keyboard input, you can do this in Legion GO settings. If you have external, then turn them off. Also, go to game settings and ensure it's set to game controller

I would use new drivers as its working as good as it can. Nothing extra needs doing to be fair

Yes it's really a game that's better for a large monitor. I play it on my gaming PC at max settings and 1440p as that's my monitor max but it looks stunning. 👌. Being able to play it on the Legion GO and hand helps is still amazing though 🙌

Ooh it's a tough one, as I'd say you would be best getting an external mouse like I've got. Although the Legion GO does have a detachable controller but this doesn't feel as good. I'd say if you play games requiring a gamepad then that would justify it

Hi, I would not recommend buying the Legion GO just for those 2 games. FC24 isn't very well optimised and Fortnight although free and runs good on medium settings. , you could just as easily play it on a cheaper laptop. I feel the Legion GO suits games like RPGs, Open World games, Fighting games or games where there isn't constant action or you need quick reflexes so better fps. It would depend on what other games you like. I would maybe have a think about what other games you might play. I usually get my games from Steam sales or Greenmangaming .com as they have good sales. It might be worthwhile if you can get the Legion GO at a cheaper price maybe?

@@SajjGamer thanks a lot for the clear answer , unluckily I’m quite monodimentional 😅, I only ever played fifa; and I just wanted to start to play Fortnite , but I don’t want to buy a gaming laptop as I already have my working laptop; and prefer a dedicated console; this seemed a good option also for the screen size but if you say that it can’t play well fc 24 I can’t imagine fc 25 coming in few months 😓😅 Someone told me to wait for the rog ally 2 coming in the next months , but I like the big screen and the idea of a detachable pad ;and legion go 2 seems like gonna take a while to come out .

Ah yes absolutely, I do feel the next version of Legion GO could be the one to go for..I've had ROG ally and steam deck but the Legion GO bigger screen is a game changer. I've not used the detachable controller on it tho as I prefer a mouse and keyboard via a dock.

The videos are just to show Legion GO users games that work on the device. These settings work and game is playable. It's not to say its the best settings but they work

Hi, yes so I do leave the standard controls as I've got used to them. I would say try experiment with a few different set ups and see what works for you? With Steam,,you could try the custom controls in steam game settings

Hey that's odd as should work as normal. Try putting your Desktop settings same resolution as game, performance mode, OS Efficiency mode. Does anything happen at all when you start the game in steam? Maybe also check the file integrity under the properties of the game. This may take a few Minutes but can fix any issues

I'd say first try resolution at 800p, set Vram to 6GB, turn off all background applications like any other game launchers etc. Have you tried copying the setting from the start of the video ? I leave my Legion GO at auto update and not tinker with anything apart from vram

Check your background usage in task manager? I play off epic games and ea launcher. I've closed steam, ubisoft and all other unnecessary background things. Also just check you have the latest driver updates for the GO

Thanks Sajj. Can you explain why it is not loading into the game full screen? I have tried to change it to full screen in settings but still no luck. It only allows full screen when clicking the windowed option

Hey try this, set both the game and Legion GO resolution to the same e.g. 1200p, set to performance mode for TDP and set OS Power to Efficiency. When changing game settings, just make sure you save settings and keep the resolution the same on both. There are also 3rd party software you could use to Force resolution but I'd try the above first.

Hi, I've not yet tried with lossless. I'm keeping the standard games with no tweaks or mods so it gives a realistic idea of how the games run. That way folks can see what the game will be like right at download. Hope that makes sense? I've had mixed results with Lossless scaling. I may get some videos uploaded testing games with Lossless though.

Did you set Vram to 6gb? I've found that's the sweet spot for most games. Also, close down any background apps running, check your task manager. I close all launchers etc and just have Steam running

Hey thats great. I found with the mod it makes it look sharper and makes it really playable again.

I'm looking to update the drivers and tinker a bit more. I also played on my PC and frame rates keep dropping. It seems the game might not be very well optimised. I'll update soon hopefully. Its a good game. But probably better at 800p and slightly lower settings at the moment

@@abdulrhmannoman3650 Yes I understand, It states the demo is separate and is not as optimised as the main game. I would personally wait until the game was on sale, as there's other really good options out there.

@@abdulrhmannoman3650 on some areas it will go aboe 30fps and then it will go below, the fps spike is a bit crazy. I feel it will take a patch or 2 to make the game stable

Ah yes that would make sense. There was an update recently though. Maybe that fixed it. Trying to complete this and the Sunbreak DLC as the new ones not too far away now!

Hi this is in 1200p. With default settings.

Hi I got this initially, so I had to uninstall and reinstall and make sure I was logged into the EA app first. My games off EPIC Store so I linked Epic to the EA App and started the game from Within the EA App. Try starting the game in the EA App and see if that helps? When you first load up, give it a few minutes and you should see the settings option eventually. It can take a few minutes initially> Hope that helps
