Managed to get to see most of my favourite bands live growing up, but Concrete Blonde I never saw. (To emence regret). Keep hoping there will be another 'one last time' gig. Johnette's voice just blows holes right through me.

The first time I ever heard this song- was when it played it live in Boston at the city hall plaza. And I am a johnny rivers long-time fan.. after he did it- I looked at my lady at the time- bewildered and said "Where the hell did that song come from?" at later oldies concerts years later at the Hatch shell- he was getting requests for it all the time- and played it again. I did seek out the vinyl import lp from Japan- that contains the song- that's how much I love the song- always trying to seek out other live versions of it.
