I received this as a gift in August and just tried it out after viewing your interesting instructions, I've tried it with Canadian mist, and apple chips made the taste more in line with a premium bourbon, I agree that it makes a $25 bottle taste like a $45 bottle.

All Tequila is Mezcal. Not all Mezcal is Tequila. I can teach anyone, (who can drink) how to drink any hard liquor. I can't teach anyone to drink a lot of hard liquor, although I have learned some tricks from Russians and Poles. But everyone has to keep to their limit.

Really same Combo Joy? We didn't get a single bit of butane. I'm assuming you used the lighter that came with it. A version of this that you could use a wooden match to light the chips would be nice. Avoid the whole butane portion of it.

Is this one better than the Anejo version? I'm not a big drinker but I just bought some of the Anejo.
Haven't had it, however, we were so surprised with Pantalones Blanco that it left us curious about the Anejo. Doing some whisk(e)y in the next couple of vids and a champagne bottle that was interesting. Pretty sure we need to try some Anejo Tequila eventually. Let us know how the Anejo you got pans out.

@@cps-slc Don't worry about true Tequila drinkers, try it, it's pretty good, and for the price, it's great. You can definitely drink it straight up or use it for a Margarita.
