i remember when this came on. My sisters begged me to watch this boy band group called nsync. i was totally against boy bands around that time so i was telling my sister i didn't want to watch it but she insisted i should watch them. so she's watching this Disney special eyes glued to the television and it was this exact song about to play. so im watching it with an attitude because the other boy bands on tv sucked, and then all of a sudden they started singing and i was intrigued by their unique harmony, in specially J. C. verse. So this song was the song that brought me into the nsync era. Ever since then i was a fan of nsync

JC wrote songs and Justin usually got one of the vocal leads on them. JC was never allowed to be a solo voice on a single, despite the fact that he can sing pretty much anything in any style, they added Justin to The Girl Who Has Everything(completely unnecessary, JC was fantastic). The least Justin could have done was to say JC should have a lead vocal on this single. This was all about Justin using Nsync as a platform to his solo career, which he lied to them about for 2 years afterwards.

I remember this! Before Tivo we had to Use the good ol VHS and tape this! I was literally screaming at the screen..like JC..i love you!!! That boy can not sing, but saaaang! Damn, he needs to start singing again. His voice and the tone of his voice just takes me to another world! I still love this man!

None of the songs in which JC was the sole lead was a single. If he was the sole lead, they added in Justin for the single (For The Girl Who Has Everything). That's why I have a problem with Justin being the only lead for Gone.

Justin wrote the song so can sing lead if he wants. JC and Justin were the two lead singers in the group any ways.
