The film Mad World (2020), was created to express some of the issues around the Covid 19 pandemic. There is a disconnect between Covid protocols (wearing masks and physical distancing) versus nature: connection with the world and each other. To us, it is a Mad World that we are living in. This film was made as a collaboration between student dancers, music and choreography.

This video was shot on April 18, 2020 in downtown Vancouver. The city of Vancouver soon afterward paid artists to paint murals on many of these storefronts. The economic affect of Covid-19 on retail is evident in these video clips. Lockdowns caused many businesses to fail and millions of dollars in losses to businesses.
