Hello and welcome! My name is Joe Jarrett aka nomadicjoe. I was an elementary school teacher in Toronto. From 2010 to 2020 I was very fortunate to have done more than my sharing of traveling. I took advantage of three golden opportunities that being a teacher in Toronto provided for me.
The first was a 4 over 5 plan, wherein you amortize four years of salary over five. That means you work for four years at 80% of your annual salary and in the fifth year you get paid 80% but you have a year leave. It is the only way I could have saved to afford the traveling I did. I took advantage of this twice and literally traveled around the world both times, once in August 2010 to July 2011 and then again in August 2017 to July 2018.
I have also participated in a teacher exchange to Melbourne in 2016 for the year and in Project Overseas where I volunteered my time for three summers - 2013 in St Vincent and 2014 and 2015 in Ghana, to work with teachers in the developing world.

It was a cold barren place but an interesting peek at the Falkland War. nomadicjj.blogspot.com If you want to be notified about future uploads, subscribe to my channel and make sure to click the notification button.
Penguins Porpoising

King Penguins 'porpoising' on their way back to land. This method of travel is faster than swimming and presumably they can sight where they are headed. Birds of a feather, flock together. True for penguins as well. nomadicjj.blogspot.com If you want to be notified about future uploads, subscribe to my channel and make sure to click the notification button.

The Movement of a Large Leech

After canoeing I turned the canoe over on the dock and found this large leech attached to the bottom. It's fascinating to see how it moves as it tried to find the water. nomadicjj.blogspot.com Please check my blog for stories and photos of my travels over the years. Albatross and Rockhopper Rookery 1

After landing on West Point Island, part of the Falkland Island archipelago, we walked from the harbour up and over a small hill to a black-browed albatross and rockhopper penquin rookery. They made an interesting pairing. It was nesting time and the albatross were renewing bonds with the mates and the rockhoppers were building nests. The loud noises are the albatross. Good vlog, it reminds me of Drepung Monastery in Tibet, founded in 1416 by Jamyang Choge Tashi Palden, one of Tsong Kha Pa main disciples and also known as the second Dalai Lama. I tried to make a vlog about it ruclips.net/video/vRzNzXKZhII/видео.html, hope you also like it.
Thanks for your video
Where it is?
Good i love it
As Aristotle described his kebos as being like a pithekos (it was Greek for Barbary ape) but with a tail, which was probably the gelada, it's kind of odd that the Greek explorer Megasthenes coined the name kerkopithekos (it means a tailed higher primate), especially for the tufted gray langur. The reason I called the Barbary ape that and not Barbary macaque is because the word ape originally referred to that cercopithecid before it was used for the non-man hominoids while macaque through its Portuguese root macaco and Bantu root kaku originally referred to the gray-cheeked macaco. By cercopithecid, I mean an Old World "monkey." By macaco, I mean a "mangabey." Do you think so?
Those are not angels....but awesome none the less.
I will add..Heniochus,not sure of the species.
Wonderful sound of a 90 tonne bell.
Actually, those look like schooling bannerfish to me. Bannerfish are a type of butterflyfish, not a type of angelfish. What a beautiful sight to see.
Where is the location you seen the moose
He's actually a red ruffed lemur and black and white ruffed lemur hybrid.
На вертел!🍖
one of them seem enjoying it well!
Good work👍👍👍
Do you know how often this ceremony takes place or anymore information behind it?

Nice video but not an indri: this one has a long tail, indri have very short tails. This looks like a black sifaka / perrier's sifaka
It is really big, but still not the biggest of it's kind.
I think it's an act of submission.
