214l counterhit in corner gives a combo, just press f.l

I assume you posted this because you were looking for feedback, so here is some feedback. Don't waste your buff when the opponent is far enough out they can't even punish you if they blocked a special. Instead use it to recover from a disadvantageous situation if you throw out a special that can be punished or if you want to continue your pressure so you're plus on block. Throw out more specials in general, Versusia is basically a zoner with some rushdown capabilities. Don't fall into a pattern that they can recognize, but it's still fine to just fill up the screen with projectiles that your opponent has to react to instead of letting them run up at you to start their offence. One other thing is, Versusia's f.M and 2M are great buttons to press when your opponent is trying to approach you in neutral. Versusia's 5U buff into 5U makes you +5 or so, meaning you can frame trap opponents with 2M if they try to press after it. Versusia has bad defense. If at all possible try to mash out as little as you can because her normals are slow. Instead use Brave Counter at least once per round to take back your turn or your DP when you have enough meter. It's tough but eventually you'll figure out when it's worth spending a BP and when you think your opponent is just going to run at you so you can use your DP.

To be honest Valentine is not a very good solo character. She's much better when backed up by assists.

I am not sure what you are asking. Are you having trouble jumping after a launcher? Generally you can just hold up to follow up with a jump after a launcher.

The main character is immune to infinite combos, but the assist is not protected. If I manage to hit the main character and the assist at the same time I can combo it until it dies with no restrictions. It's an effective tactic but hard to set up.

Great sets, some of those combos are ridiculous. I'm curious though, is that considered an infinite that you're doing with Valentine or whatnot? I thought they said there was mechanics in place that prevented stuff like that. O: Just downloaded the game so I'm eager to learn it when I can sit down and have some quality time with it, unfortunately I'm only Xbox so I have no update. :(

The netplay is the based on GGPO, which is the best netcode that fighting games can use right now. There are a considerable number of players online, though a lot of them are Japanese and are reluctant to accept games from people too far away for smooth play. You can also go to the shoryuken forums or skullheart forums to schedule sets with players there.

For Double, her dash is a bit wonky so I suggest to use it for mix-ups instead of movement. Her double jump is better for general moving around. Her gameplay really revolves around abusing cat-head super to get in and create openings, so practice operating with cat-head support.

For combo transcripts, I suggest going to the Skullheart forums, where I and many other great players post our combos. For learning Filia, I suggest to focus on her resets and setups. Focus on fast movement and mix-ups. For Valentine, I suggest to play her evasively and rely on assists to make openings, and practice capitalizing on those openings. You can rush down from time to time but do it intelligently. Don't try to just go HAM.

Great gameplay, I would hardly call it 'casual', hahahaha. I have been wanting to get on this game, only thing that sets me back is not knowing how netplay will work or if I will find players. Excellent job on those combos.

to be a little bit more specific my main issue with Double is movement. Filia isn't too bad, she's honestly a Skullgirls Shoto so I'll adapt to her with time and practice

But I guess the first question I would be asking for would be transcripts and general advice for learning Filia and Double. I'm relatively solid with Valentine execution but actual match stuff is still pretty foreign to me when it comes to skullgirls
