After getting the 1CC on the default settings I decided to try hardest difficulty. The only real difference appears to be that you take more damage from most enemies. Everything else seems the same. Three consecutive 1CCs using each individual character. Rosesub (the warrior guy) was by far the hardest, especially since a lack of invincibility frames made one stage extremely difficult. Played on WolfMAME 0.175. This is about as close as I can get to attempting this on real hardware for now, but it definitely proves it's doable. Definitely not the most well-executed run and my timing was off on the roulette selection several times, so I will be improving upon this. Wilme as partner, one death to a bad encounter in the past, so-so encounter pattern luck overall, decent grinds, quick Sky Rune apprentice, 8th try airship entrance. Resets used to reroll on recruitment stats and apprentice responses and the Lux Tune-Up Glitch is used. Timing starts from the moment the throne room appears after character selection and ends on the final hit to Gorsia.

Played on the PS1 with the Salamander Deluxe Pack Plus on Normal difficulty with Wait Control OFF (no lag). Applied some item drop manipulation to the route for this run and, despite messing up the manipulation toward the end, saved over a minute. Still time to be saved by not messing up manipulation and boss fights, but happy with my progress. Played on console with a standard NES controller.

Sub-22! Added some item drop manipulation to the run and managed it well. I had an excellent key grinding session to start and managed obtaining rest of the keys well, obtaining the last one at the last minute. Minor mistakes here and there, a couple of moments of indecision, and some menuing issues, but overall I am quite happy with this run. Played on console with a standard NES controller.
