I enjoyed this episode, Paul! Would love to dive into this topic with you someday!
Great episode!
Thank you for sharing these stories, Sharon!
Interesting episode! Never would I have thought a handshake could cause anxiety. Would love to learn more about this school!
Great job Mark, I believe the conversation on this subject subject could go on for days. Multifamily maintenance is like a roller coaster and we have to be able to keep calm and composed while doing the most daunting tasks a lot of the times in front of the residents who are having something terrible happening to them. So sometimes we have to be the one to keep them calm as well. This can also add to stress levels. The appreciation side of things comes and goes as well, some residents are very thankful while others just want you to fix it and leave. This goes with some managers as well. I don't know how this part can be fixed besides just dealing with it like a quarterback or relief pitcher who has a bad stretch but gets back out there and puts it behind them. That is the best coping mechanism for me but may not work for everyone. Keep the videos coming. I applaud anyone who gives a voice and understanding on all matters Multifamily. Thank you!! Vinny Bertone
This episode was so insightful, Sharon! I’ve never been to Buc-ee’s, but as someone with an entrepreneurial spirit, I really appreciate how you highlighted the business lessons we can take away from their model. Their focus on simplicity, clarity, and knowing their identity is something every business-big or small-can learn from. It’s inspiring to see how Buc-ee’s turns even the most basic service, like a roadside stop, into an unforgettable customer experience. Fantastic episode! 👏
Fantastic presentation, Mark. Love listening to Maintenance advocates! -Travis Everett
Thank you for your recognition of Veterans and your Companies dedication to helping those that are serving and especially those Veterans in need of a place to live.
GREAT First Episode Shelley! I really enjoyed hearing Eric speak - he's so insightful and so dang SMART! Appreciate the conversation and look forward to more!
Another outstanding talk with Stephanie Versin!
Thank you so much for this!❤

I love you, uncle Chris you are doing so good in these videos. I’ve been watching all of them. Hope I can see you soon. I love you. This is Taylor.
While I agree that maintenance training is important. I think it’s unfair to take a fact like most negative reviews are about maintenance and immediately assume it’s a training issue. In my experience most negative maintenance reviews relate to untimely repairs and condition of property and units. This is usually a result of ownership not investing into stocked shops and reasonably staffing properties. It’s rare that you see a negative maintenance review complaining about the skill level of the maintenance staff.
That is a fair point. Thank you for the comment.

Loved learning so much about this iconic brand.
From someone who was in property management for 45 years, this was most interesting and informative. I wish that professionals like Stephanie were available when I was in the business. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with everyone. Patrick Murphy CPM. CCIM. RPM. GRI. CRS. CRB. CAPS.
Color me impressed! Being the solo marketing person over such a large and complex portfolio is so challenging. It is a credit to Ashley that she does it so well. Thanks for sharing so many great tips.
Love this! It is such an important topic and far too few solutions are out there. Cara’s passion for recovery is compelling. 8m buying the book right now.
Knowing your father and the man of the community he is; I am not surprised. As a new retarred person, one of the things I am looking forward to is getting involved again. I was a founding member of our local Volunteer Ambulance Corps. Once I started working full time and got married I didn't seem to have time. My Wife and I recently joined our parish choir. I'm only retired a week so I'm still feeling my way around. I belong to my local gun club that does a lot of community work. I am looking forward to seeing what else I can do once I get my act together with figuring out this new life. <3 CONGRATULATIONS CHRIS <3
Such a great reminder that a small action can have catastrophic results. How can property management best educate and put real solutions for residents who hang artwork throughout their homes with no idea where electrical and plumbing lines are?
Very insightful episode! Complex (and often bolted on) technology is bound to go haywire from time to time, especially when exacerbated by loss of institutional knowledge due to employee turnover.
What a great episode...you both nailed it!
This episode is a must see for maintenance supervisors AND property managers. Take the time and you will increase your understanding and improve your results in terms of maintenance purchase planning.
This is real knowledge ❤
Well done Chris!
Well done Chris!

Those are all great reminders of small changes that make a big difference. I'm going to strive for 1% improvement today!
he said "Don't think about what you want to be" and not "Don't think about what don't want to be".
Regan is such a boss babe! She’s an asset to any endeavor.
Love this episode!!
Thank you for listening!
What you said is all true but sad! When i retired @ Chrysler/Daimler-Benz in 2007 (30 years) I went into the multi-family industry. I live in Kirkwood,Mo./STL
I agree. There is a lot to be said for the right person at the right time.
Good stuff! I loved how Jared realizes that there is a LOT of movement in Multifamily (from a job perspective) and that someone who may not have been right THEN may be right now - #Situational Thanks for sharing both of you!
Leveraging people into roles that they LOVE -- makes Centralized processes SO MUCH more nuanced...I LOVE IT!! And then...to incentivize them with bonuses (that sound like) that MATTER...not measly pittance! Josh Winch - love what you are doing here!
💗
Don’t put a question mark where there was a period, LOVED that!!! Such a much-needed message!
Ok... my interest is peaked 😁
My favorite of the podcasts so far! Absolutely loved it!
Tips -throughout the day, take 5… 5 minutes to a rapid clean up from everyone in the office. Then have everyone walk outside and inside with fresh eyes to see what residents, guests and co-workers see. First impressions matter! This habit creates movement, energy and a daily sense of accomplishment!
This is such a great reminder! Thank you!
Informative and so entertaining!
Necole is such an inspiration!! I am still young in the industry so I love to see managers who have been doing this for a while still loving what they do. It is not an easy job but it is fun and definitely worth it!
She’s truly an inspiration!
The Death Star tie in is SO EXTRA! Love it 👍
Thanks for the detailed conversation. Love how @chadwell supply is thinking about improving the customer experience in so many ways.
Thank you for joining us for this fun and informative episode. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do ❤
Love the Bananas and Leo Burnett stories!
