I think the 997.1.5 Turbo stick is the sweet spot being the mezger and last of the mezger for that matter and they also have the .2 technology. .1 or .2 they are both great looking & awesome cars. The .2 turbo stick being the last of the last and obviously way more rare. Cheers

These car guys never talks about 911 production numbers when they talk about values. I find it very strange. Half of the 964's and 993's production were cabrios, targas and tiptronics. There aren't so many manual coupes out there. Just look at the new 911 production numbers. They're like five times more. They have already made 8000 992 GT3 variants. EIGHT THOUSAND. They made only a few hundred special versions of the air cooled models (964/993 RS, GT2, Turbo S etc). The new Porsches are mass produced cars. How could their values ever be anything like the hand built air cooled cars? 992 must be pushing 300.000 units. By the way I drive a 996 4S. It will never be collectible, I know that. Look at their inventory. RFMC cars are about 15-25% overpriced on every car. LOL

The GT3RS won

Some nice Porsches in inventory. I do disagree and think most collector cars are still in a bubble, and with the economy clearly slowing most of these cars will continue to drop in value. G body 911s, 964s and 993 have risen way too fast over the past few years and due for a correction. 991 turbos and GT3s have come down quite a bit, as have almost all 997s except maybe the GTS, which is way overvalued. I would take a manual 997.1 turbo at $80k over a $100k GTS all day every day. In fact I’ll probably pick one up if/when they are back in the 65-70k range.

Once all the boomers can’t drive these cars anymore/die out, the market is gonna absolutely crash.

Oh look, it’s the dealer who buys gt3’s on BAT and calls them keepers for their collection and then a week later it shows up on their website for sale lol. Bunch of clowns

Louie is a legend I dig this dude. A distinguished gentlemen no doubt. 991 for me all day. 992 went over the line on size and tech, too much of both for me. Looking back 997 will be the goldilocks 911 for our generation. F355 is the same for Ferrari. The last of the proper size, gated analog cars that still have adequate creature comforts. For me its all about the size and proportions. Proper cars just have that compact vibe going on. These cars are high water marks and the market will show this over the next 10-20 years.

Porsche cars will continue to drop in price this year!!! Time to wait a bit longer to buy unless you find a special spec you like and don't mind spending more on one.

I’m a sample of one, but I don’t see the 997 turbo manual as overly special compared to special Porsches. Just doesn’t feel like the last. The Sport Classic is a turbo manual. The 991.2 and 992.1 Carrera T, S, and GTS were all twin turbo flat sixes that could be had with manuals. And, I would bet Porsche will do another special turbo manual in the 992.2. (The only reason 2025 won’t have a 911 with a manual is because half of the 992.2 models aren’t available in 2025- it’s an unusual change over year.)

On a more serious note, yes, 997.2 is the new 993, for sure! I just sold my 3.8 car just to upgrade to a 4.0 car for a mere $400,000. That said, I do hope that this 4.0L car that I just bought does go to $1.0MM by 2030!

I had the privilege to watch how this magnificent machine was built! EIGHT HOURS just to "hand sew" the leather on the steering wheel alone! Hands down, this is the BEST car in the world, bro!

I have a 991.2 gt3 touring I’m dying to trade for the right 992 gt3 touring but everyone is telling me it’s a huge mistake! I can say having owned a few 992s the interior of the 992 is epic. I’m partial to both. ❤ These red cars are gorgeous!! Nice video guys!!!

Gen 991.2 GT3 is a sweet spot for me. The look, sound and interior. Also it's first Touring (after R), lesser pieces has been made compared to 992, so that's why I think it's more unique and will hold value much better.

Just speaking to rarity and long term value the 991 wins, there are far less of them. Porsche made a shit ton of 992 GT3 Tourings.
