To add more onto this, every HP Elitebook ever made has a SIM card slot. What 90% of them don't have is the optional and very expensive WWAN card face-orange-frowning- WHAT A BUMMER!!. Now the WWAN card is that component the author showed us - it is labelled WWAN (Wireless Wide Area Network).....it can be bought and installed onto the laptop's motherboard - as long as it is compatible in the first place. Get ready to cough some extra dimes!! So basically before buying a laptop, first go under the Device Manager > Network Adapters and make sure you have the main 3/4 adapters i.e. wireless adapter (for WIFi), ethernet adapter (for cable), bluetooth adapter (for bluetooth connections) and that LTE adapter/card NOT to be confused with bluetooth. At times WWAN can be disabled via BIOS so take note on this though it is VERY rare since this is a very good selling point. Otherwise these might be the best HP laptops with WWAN in-built and ready-to-go www.hp.com/us-en/solutions/mobility/wwan/att.html or simply search about the specific laptop you want. FYI for laptops, generations aside those with a ready-to-go WWAN adapter or card are quite expensive even if old!! Thank you all
