Hi, I'm Kaisar and I'm an aspiring composer :)
My favourite composers are Thomas Bergersen and Hiroyuki Sawano and they are the biggest reason I started this journey.
What you'll find in this channel is not only a collection of Covers and Mock-ups of some of my favourite pieces but also my own original tracks as I keep improving my craft.

Serpentide - Original Composition for #VGenChallenge Jan 2025
This is my submission for the VGen January 2025 challenge. I found out about VGen, a platform for art commission, and they had a challenge going on so I figured why not join :)
The theme was Serpent, and since this is the Year of the Snake, for the Chinese New Year, I took inspiration from Chinese traditional music, and made something rather oriental.
I envisioned a delicate snake, elegant in its movement, soon maturing and evolving into a dragon. In a way, to preserve that elegantness, I ended up making my 'tamest' climax. However, I feel like I was able to capture my intended vision with this piece.
This was quite fun to work on, thank you for listening.

This was a huge one :) Thankfully, the full score is available on the songs official upload, so I was using it as a reference for the mock-up. I love the movement in the strings and the percussion sounds great! The instruments you used really blended well together, and the choir was a nice cherry on top! The main melody was very nice, and it’s definitely a memorable one!

Yeah, I did. This more of an attempt to get close to the Bergersen sound with just midi so a lot of the work was just incorporating the official score using libraries. Probably the easiest and hardest cover at the same time 😂
@@stixhistishi Finding good libraries can be hard, but once you have the sound, it's amazing what you can do!

This literally gave me chills. And I had tears in my eyes... I actually got to meet the EN VA at a con for Hange, Jessica Calvello. And she was so cool and awesome. But they had just started recording the dubbed for season 4 I think or just wrapped up part 2. I can't remember. But she didn't know what was coming... And I had read the manga.... So I drew a picture of Hange for her to sign and I still have it proudly on my wall. When I watched the final dubbed episode with Jessica's voice as Hange, I had the picture right next to me. And I cried so hard hearing Jessica give it her all for Hange. Hange's last stand. Thank you to Romi Park(Japanese seiyuu) and Jessica Calvello (English voice actor) for giving one of the most bad ass people in anime history a voice. Thank you for giving it your all for Hange's last stand as they finally spread their wings and flew free.
Oh, wow. Such a heartwarming story❤️ I remember when this scene was playing and the song came on, I decided on a whim to cover it. I never meant to even do an vocal cover until I felt like it wouldn't be proper without it. I think she went out with a bang, as one of the greatest characters of AOT.

I started listening to Two Steps from Hell because of this channel, and seeing a such a beautiful cover of Thomas Bergersen's work was a pleasure to listen to!
I was listening to this just yesterday, and I learned that AT here actually stands for Araki Tetsuro, the chief director of AoT Season 3, since Sawano-san was great friends with him! And of course, the cover was amazing! I’m a sucker for the French horns, and the atmosphere you created really filled up the space beautifully, which made this a really surreal experience to listen to!
Haha, thanks. I didn't know about the meaning of the name🤯 But I know this theme is used in a lot more tracks and I love it. I know it's one of the first themes used when we first saw Marley in sn 3 and it was like a fun jig. Thanks for listening, it's been a slow year but I'm hopefully back to a more regular schedule.
