I have a great passion in Food Security and Rural Development give my background in Range Management. Farming is also therapeutic to me.
I believe Africa will attain its glory through Agriculture as its underutilized. My vision is to cover stories on Agriculture across the continent that will change the perspectives about Agriculture.

Chris the Farmer with a Vision Board 👏👏
Earlier this week I was in Busia for my research and I met amazing small scale farmers doing amazing work courtesy of government training and other private stakeholders.
One of the farmers that stood out was Chris , with a small piece of land he had over 200 chickens and various crops, including Azolla deep in Nambale subcounty.
Not only that but also he had his "Future Farm vision board" , indeed that was amazing and through knowing where he wants to be he has achieved so much economically. Honestly I was challenged to do better on my farm.
Have a look at his work and if in Busia for any chicken related training please give him a chance.

I love this video! A man with a plan. Visualisation works. His chicken house is also simple but well thought out.
What are some of the fertilizers used
This will entirely depend on soil test. But generally during planting DAP, At vegetative state you may need CAN, Foliah and flowering products. For us we had to use lime before planting as soil was acidic.
