Your work is so beautiful! I am glad I found your channel. I am an artist who has been dealing with some life circumstances in the past couple of years that have taken me away from creating. I have been watching videos to spark my own enthusiasm so I can get back to work in 2024. I absolutely love your technique of negative space painting. Another artist who uses that in her work is Erin Hanson. Both of you are experts at color, also! Vibrant work is my vibe as well. I look forward to more of your videos. Lovely! I just discovered the joy of mixed media collage and am practicing with composition, balance and movement within the piece.

I can relate! You made a lot of good points here. Instead of giving up too soon, I keep at it, layering, and trying different approaches and often I can salvage a 'failed' piece.

Any space I have, art studio or not, I have to declutter every now and then, as the clutter always builds up again 😊 but it is satisfying once its tidied up again. All the best, John
