As an indigenous Mexican, I always cringe and shake my head at the mention of Aztlan as some sort of origin story/homeland, nah bro, Aztlan is a myth and not all Mexicans descend from Aztecs, I’m not “Aztec” myself, I’m Ñuu Savi (Mixteco) from Oaxaca, in fact most Mexicans can most likely trace roots back to other cultures and nations besides the Aztecs

Today the chicano park day is very unorganized..no parkin... parkin permits arent worth the paper they are wrote on,,my friends drove 3 hours to get there n looke dofrparkin for a hour and jus drove back home,,,its over crwoded no shade to escape the sun ,,only in certain places,,,peple are rude,,, to many stages,,its always noisy i couldnt even hear myself think,,,there should only be one maybe 2 stages,, with canopies,,,but it is very unorganized,,, and those who perform are related to who organize it,,,they need to switch up Djs who run the stages not the same djs every year..we wont talk about the Gang fight at the end of 53
