We know Russia done this kind of thing again and again. Please explain what exactly they do because it baffles me. Also give examples. Are you referring to the Trump dossier. interestingly in the article: Why the Discredited Dossier Does Not Undercut the Russia Investigation NYT This question is asked Was the dossier a reliable source of information? No. It has become clear over time that its sourcing was thin and sketchy. No corroborating evidence has emerged in intervening years to support many of the specific claims in the dossier, and government investigators determined that one key allegation - that Mr. Trump’s lawyer, Michael Cohen, had met with Russian officials in Prague during the campaign - was false I suspect the decision to null the first election was decided (recount had already been done) because A poll carried out by CURS concomitant with the exit poll at the parliamentary elections on December 1 but not published by the polling agency, reveals that over 57% of the voters would opt for independent pro-Russian candidate Calin Georgescu in a potential second round against reformist candidate Elena Lasconi. .According to the CURS survey, Calin Georgescu would get 57.8%, while Elena Lasconi would get 42.2% Romania Insider.com 4 December Interestingly Romania’s electoral authority AEP used blockchain technology for counting and validating votes in the first round of the presidential elections on November 24, making Romania the first country in the EU to use such technology in the electoral system, Profit.ro reported. AEP, in collaboration with the Special Telecommunications Service (STS) created a portal where results can be tracked in real time. Data was recorded on the blockchain network of the European Blockchain Services Infrastructure, or EBSI, a peer-to-peer network built by the European Commission, covering all EU member states, plus Norway and Liechtenstein. In Romania’s case, the datasets collected at polling stations were recorded as transactions on the blockchain. The live information was available on a dashboard where citizens could track it. STS says the new system “strengthens the resilience of the Romanian electoral system, by ensuring traceability and increasing trust in data integrity.” You mention Moldova Actually the majority of people living in Moldova did not vote for Maia Sandu, It was the Diaspora vote that swung the election in her favour. Howether A claim was made by The Moldovan government wrote to Berlin saying Moldova’s secret service warned the government in Chișinău about “Russia’s disruptive activities,” which could include “fake bomb threats targeting polling stations,” according to the documents obtained by Welt, a sister publication of POLITICO in the Axel Springer Group. Moldova has informed several EU nations that Russia will try to disrupt voting by Moldovan emigrants at polling stations abroad during the presidential election on Sunday. Local authorities in Frankfurt, Liverpool, and Northampton have received reports of bomb threats at four polling stations established for the second round of Moldova’s presidential elections on 3 November. Source: Moldovan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as reported by European Pravda Details: The Foreign Ministry of Moldova reported that these were false alarms. Quote: "Specialised units in these countries activated emergency protocols and have since completed their anti-terrorism inspections, declaring the threats unfounded. These alerts were baseless, seemingly aimed at disrupting the voting process". Moldovan authorities had warned the public of possible Russian attempts to sabotage the voting process for Moldovan expatriates at foreign polling stations. The Moldovan diaspora in Western countries largely supports the current president, Maia Sandu, who is running for a second term. In response to the bomb threat reports, Sandu urged citizens not to be intimidated and to continue voting. I checked and even asked for information about reported bomb threat from the locations mentioned. There were no such reports to confirm this story. Is this Moldovan misinformation or as I prefer to say lying? .Moldovan Polling Stations UK Londra/ 1.West Hilton London Syon Park, Park Road, Brentford, TW8 8JF Londra 2. A mere 10,000 ballot papers were sent to Russia, where the Moldovan population is thought to number over 150,000 people. The population of Transnistria is 367,000, but they were only allowed to vote in Moldova itself. (For the record, Moldova insists that Transnistria is part of Moldova.) The Bridge that needed to be crossed was closed after a bomb scare very convenient. October 10 Radio Free Europe European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen called on Moldovans to participate in two crucial upcoming elections and announced that the European Union has earmarked 1.8 billion euros ($1.97 billion) in financial support for the economy of one of Europe's poorest countries in the next three years. I think that what I would call election Interference.

Well, we have under built housing for the last 20+ years. So house prices are now way out of step with incomes. If we had a surplus of housing, it would be fine. But we don't... The net winners are business owners who need to undercut wages. People with a property portfolio will see more demand and increase in value. Landlords can increase rents to eaven more scandelous platos. For people in regular jobs facing spiralling bills. This immigration will never be good news. 5 immigrants a year would be too many. Tell me child poverty is eliminated. Foodbanks are closed, and I don't see people begging for change outside the train station. Let's talk about immigration. Until then, it's a crime against the working man as far as I can see.

The issue with this is you risk completely undermining the principle of common defence by including such 'edge cases'. Small incursions by Russia will become larger and more normalised, chipping away at the principle and in doing so destroying it wholesale as an idea across the alliance. I say NATO beware this proposal! It could play right into Putin's hands. P.S To those who raise Turkey/Greece/Cyprus as an example - intra alliance conflict is totally different.
