So calling people stupid because they think you're stupid? Well, you are maybe not stupid but your video is stupid. Lang Lang is not hyped because he plays with "bands" but because he is a genius, you don't make career in classical music by cheating. Then Lang Lang has very little time, so the fact that he dedicates 5 minutes here and there to make a piano lesson, even if not greatest quality, is a honorable action, this man has 150 concerts a year. Also, there is no match between his piano lessons and your parody, even when he jokes, it still has power and creativity, while your parody is lame.

Haha interesting. I think Lang Lang is a remarkable pianist. But people should not hype everthing from every people with a great name... Everyone can like or dislike my video, even if I do not understand how you can dislike that video if you really have knowledge about playing the piano and about pianists. In my opinion people should judge fairly. The name does not matter, only the quality. And the pianistic quality of Lang Lang is really good. But he really is not the only one as it seems like in public. And in opposite to other great pianists he also does rediculous things. For example these lessons. So I wanted to make a parody and every intellegent people with humor appreciate this video. For example every piano teacher I know. The other people can be happy to learn a lot from Lang Lang piano lessons ;)

Lang Lang never said his "5 min piano lessons" should be take seriously. Myself I consider them a parody and also a self directed mockery to those boring exercises he had to repeat again and again in his youth. Which it seems it payed. Yes he does also ridiculous things but also he is the one who takes a lot of risks, this is part of what communicating emotions to people is. Also, you should understand that there is no "you should like my video if you are a pianist", pianists also can have various view perspectives, like everyone. I am professional pianist and also teaching in a Conservatory and precisely because of this I don't like much youngsters mocking on famous interpreters, unless they have and proved a serious potential. Once you post a video, is exposed to various personal opinions, mine is not universal, is of course subjective, however you see that your video triggered more negative than positive opinions, so its maybe time to ask yourself what you did wrong. If you can be mocking on Lang Lang, don't play the offended card if some of his fans don't like your action, and this is not because they are brainwashed but because they respect his talent, his workout patience and his dedication.

Oh i really respect Lang Lang. But I think you are defending your idol in every thing what he is doing. And you here should question things critically instead of having a one sided oppinion. The same with the other 50 "Lang Lang disciples" here. And you do not have to be as good as the person you are "mocking". Or have every satirist to be as good in politics as the politicians he/she is satirizing? I don't think so.

Oh! I meant to add one more thing, thank you for listing a few excellent pianists! I hadn't come across Trifonov before and he's divine!

I did not copy him. I was thinking about how to make a parody without just copying him. The joke is that he posted a lesson with repetitions 3 month after i had made this video. If you've read my comment, you could know that I am not personally against Lang Lang. He is one of the best pianists in our time but with his fame he can do such stupid things and he is not the one and only, too

You have no understanding of fun. If Lang Lang can do anything he wants to, then let others do the same, too. For example making fun of his unnecessary lessons...

pianosenzanima what's wrong with you? Unnecessary because you don't have to be Lang Lang to lern scales or repetitions... He makes his videos, as you say, in a "stupid" way. To your point "you are stupid too": That is what a parody means
