I'm sorry to hear that, I would be frustrated too with the paper and coloring books. I didn't realize until this year watching other RUclipsrs around the world that there are differences in resources and regulations depending on the sending country. 💝

Interesting! Thanks for sharing! Even in the US, I wish the boxes were sized to be able to lay a composition notebook flat in the bottom, as they can be bought significantly more affordably than other smaller notebooks. Love all your creative and fun boxes!

I understand your frustration as I pack from Canada and we have your size boxes. I have to buy certain notebooks as well. It would be so nice if they were at least a bit longer for normal notebooks. They are also more flimsy. And that's why I do duct tape when I use them. I know Australia uses our boxes as well. The OCC representative was very kind and gave a wonderful explanation. I know it would be the same issue in Canada. Our OCC is much smaller and couldn't afford the change at this time. But maybe in the future it could happen.😊 I struggle the most with using the same size for a two year old that I should use for a 14 year old when they require more school supplies and their clothes/shoes are much bigger than a 2 year old. Thank you for informing us on the response.

Up until 2018, the US used the smaller more flimsy boxes as well. It hadn't really affected me as I generally packed in my own cardboard shoe boxes or purchased plastic boxes to send. Only in the last couple of years have I used the newer style boxes and they are great. Hopefully, you will be an encouragement to others in the UK to see OCC become a more familiar ministry. Your videos are a great start. Thank you for filling shoeboxes and for sharing your heart for the children. God bless! 😊

I’m so glad you got an explanation, not only for yourself and your fellow packers in the UK, but for us in the US who have always wondered the same thing. I know our immediate neighbor, Canada, has the same smaller boxes as your country and I have always wondered why that was. Now I know. I do hope your request about adding the dimensions to the order page does not fall on deaf ears. Knowing the dimensions prior to ordering should be of utmost importance. I would be frustrated too. Keep in mind, if you do use a regular shoebox, you do not have to wrap it or decorate it in any way. I know many people who do not and I’m sure the kids are just fine with that. They are less interested in the outside than they are in what’s inside the box. When your kids are old enough, maybe let them decorate the box with markers and crayons, construction paper and paste. They will love it! 😁

I’m glad you were able to get an answer. Canada has the smaller size boxes too. US use to have smaller thinner boxes also. I still have some and packed three this year. It’s a challenge but once you get the hang of it, it gets easier. I actually quite enjoy packing smaller boxes sometimes. Easier for 2-4 than the older ages though. Thanks for sharing! I know your boxes are all great and will be loved no matter the size. ❤(And so nice to see your beautiful face!)

Bows are very in right now! 🎀 Oh, the unicorn air glider is so fun and unique. Lovely items in the pencil case. Maybe a champagne color? I'm not even sure but it's a pretty color! Aw, the nail file is darling. I love how purple that unicorn is. 💜 The craft will be so fun for her. My favorites have to be the puzzle, very purple unicorn friend, and all the little touches of unicorns like the file and air glider. This will be such a loved gift! Beautiful shoebox! Unicorns is always a great theme. I love that you gave so many hair accessories. My favorite is the tic tac toe. Great find of unicorn pencils! Very sweet unicorn stuffy. The unicorn coloring and sticker books are perfect for this theme. Another favorite is the mini unicorn playing cards. Your final shoebox is amazing! Hi , I like the Unicorn themed box. The little girl will be so happy with all the goodies and love you gave to this box. I shop at a grocery store that gives rewards for shoping there , and I'm going to be getting a 145 pc. Lego set in a Unicorn theme for just doing my shopping . So excited . Woodland is always the best theme. That small sticker book with coloring pages is awesome. My favorite is the colored pencils - I like the packaging - the tube. We don't usually have the tube packaging for colored pencils here in the states and I love it. Cute bunny notebook. Owl necklace craft is super cool! Card game is perfect for this theme. Beautiful shirt. Her menstrual kit is always practical to have. In the end, the larger nature sticker book is gorgeous! Beautiful illustrations. I can tell you really thought out each item for this theme. You put a lot of care and effort. Thanks for sharing this beautiful shoebox! 🐇🦉

I love to pack no theme boxes as well as themed ones. I love the doll and the horse, so cute! The little baby doll is adorable and love the little shoes. Love the water bottle and the penguin stuffie. I have a plush little miss sunshine for a 60s/70s themed box next year. The sticker scene is adorable! Congrats on 100 subscribers! Love these boxes! I made two Jungle animal 2-4 boxes too this year (1 boy and 1 girl). Side note: I tgink the first stuffie might be a rhino, since brown rhinos do exist.

I love the outdoors, so it’s no wonder that a Woodland Creature theme for the girls is one of my top favorites. I’m really loving all the unique items you are packing for this girl (unique to me, anyway). Here in the states we pretty much all shop at the same stores, so unboxing videos from RUclipsrs here in the US often contain similar shoebox content, lol. Right off the bat, I love his fun flip-flops! So many cars = one happy boy! Yes, boys do like flinging things around, lol. Both coloring books are awesome! Isn’t there an eraser on the end of the dry erase pen that comes with the wipe clean book? it looks like the kind that has a felt eraser on one end. The 3-D puzzle is pretty cool. What a great variety of stuff that a little boy is going to really like. The "flicker" toys - put the index finger of one hand in the top hole (under the dino's head) use the other hand to pull the legs back, let go of the legs and the dino will fly. For the dry erase board I like to add a chalk eraser, an eye glass cleaning cloth or a small piece of fleece to wipe markings off the page. Thanks for all the inspiration.

The dry erase markers typically have an eraser on the top! I might suggest including a second marker if you are able as they do dry out
