For whatever reason the NWS BTV Test clip corrupted so it will not be included but my camera did capture it (Included in EAS Count). BTW, my go pro overheated so I'm stuck with my 8 year old Akaso Mini action camera again XD WXJ40 KZZ40 KZZ41 WNG575

Disclaimer: I got the NH Monthly test yesterday but the video was too shaky and cringe so I will not be uploading it. I did get all the usual FM stations due to the fast stereo scrolling in the car I was driving. NWS GYX, BTV, and the State of Maine all conducted tests all at once. Maine for the required monthly test, (In a separate video that corrupted. Thanks $10 Nokia XD), GYX for a Weekly, ...

NH Monthly Test 11/2/24 (EAS #3729 - 3768)
Pretty weird month for alerts
Really weird. Had a random ALY WSW get issued but it was not toned over WXM44.
Sometimes I can get WNG575 in my front yard depending on if WWF48 is nice enough for me to Dx it
The Reception range increased significantly in January 2025. You might be able to get it now.
Oh? Ok maybe I’ll try sometime
I was barely able to get it on one radio but now I have it on 3-5 permanently. It just severely degrades temporarily sometimes when it's windy.
Awesome catch! I got a WSW too. How much did you get?
Roughly 5 inches
Nice catches
Did you hear the Good News? Jesus, the Son of God, loves us so much that He died for our sins. He was crucified, then resurrected. Jesus conquered death and has overcome the world! With His sacrifice, we can live forever in Heaven with Him in eternal happiness! Follow Jesus, repent, and live forever! - If you want to learn more about the Good News, check out the Books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John of the New Testament of the Holy Bible.
This is what annoys me about weather radios. It jars you out of bed for a non urgent alert like a winter storm. I would just want it to go off for a tornado warning or something that requires immediate attention. Over alerting just makes people not want a weather radio.
NWS GYX doesn't tone winter weather alerts overnight anymore besides snow squall warnings. Overnight River Flood Warnings, High Wind Warnings, and Flood Watches don't get toned either unless its after 6 or 7am.
Nice catches
Nice catches
god that room is so cool
Awesome catches! I got my Christmas one too and it was loud. Not as loud as this though
I wish I could have all the radios together during the holidays
my ears
I turned the printer off right after this XD
Woah, thats pretty cool!
110% Functional
Very functional Also, sorry to bother you, but what's your discord, again, sorry if that question comes off as annoying or bothers you
yeetboipro
No clue what this is or why this Video was shown to me but …. Looks cool
@@vitorau76 It'll help me capture FM Stations again. I completely lost FM Station coverage when I got a job back in September.
And I thought I was a weather geek. Respect!
A loud end to the year
Yes indeed
Mine meanwhile was a quiet one haha
Oh wow, nobody ever got WWG50? I get a WWG station too!
I thought an enthusiast from Vermont used to get that station many years ago.
Awesome cycle. Was this also from your grandparent’s house? Some of the locations and counties up there are hard to pronounce.
Yes. I was in eastern Carroll county NH. KDO95 is a permanent station in some parts of that county.
@ oh, ok. In my area, several stations are the permanent one.
I used to have 8 stations but now I'm down to 5. I do see the potential to have 11 weather radio stations with the right setup tho.
@@lightningrunner7250 I can get 6 stations at home with 9 stations with all u7 channels at my grandparents house
Is this a station you can only get at your grandparents house?
I can get it on one radio pretty clear at my house where all my radios usually are.
@ oh, ok.
I used to be able to get WXL93 outdoors but I lost it permanently after it went wireless
@ oof, that sucks.
Is there a way I can get it back with a super hardcore external antenna or something? WXM68 & KHB35's propagations are not too far from me either plus WNG545 & WNG546 & maybe WWF48
Pretty interesting
The signal was super strong since my grandparents house isn't too far away from Mt. Washington
@lightningrunner7250 Ah, I see
What upsets me is that high winds that were going on during my entire weekend visit prevented me from being able to get WNG547 & KEC93. WXJ40 (My Main Station) was over riding KEC93 due to a tropo wave
@lightningrunner7250 Damn, hate when that happens
Awesome catches! Not much alerts are better than none.
True
11:25 "We interrupt your programming, this is a global emergency" ahh sound
sweet setup, keep em coming!!!
I'll make sure to do that every week with RWT's & WSW's that go off this winter
What’s up?
Nothing Much. Just a 40 in 1 EAS Capture from Saturday 11/2/24
Do you have a discord
not bad, my only complaint is that it's pronounced sacko river not socko
That Is Such A Soft Calm Alert Sound Instead Of A- Creepy Computer Sound
It was the earthquake drill
I live in NH. We don't do those here.
@@lightningrunner7250 hmm
It also went off WMGX-FM 93.1 MHz
Crazy how i get reccomended this as hurricane milton is about to make landall
7:41 for the lightning strike
just earned a sub ;)
Awesome catch!
Thank you. Many more BTV tests to come
@@lightningrunner7250 awesome!
There is a test of the emergency alert system on September 19, 2024 at 9:55pm. This test will be issued by the NWS in Caribou.
Oh wow, a BTV test. What station is that?
WXM44 from Mt. Ascutney in Windsor Vermont
@@lightningrunner7250 oh, ok
That station is the reason I can't get KHB35 from Taunton. WXM44 is too strong in my area and I couldn't find an area where KHB35 bleeds through.
@@lightningrunner7250 oh, ok. I see.
At least a permanent bleedthrough spot. Sometimes I can get it on a clear day. I was hoping it would be like ch6 where it's WNG575 when an antenna is vertical and WNG546 with a horizontal antenna with both stations on a clear signal.
That’s how WXK97 is for me pretty much.
Usually WXL93 is not like that. WNG545 for whatever reason started fighting WXL93 the second the test started lol
@@lightningrunner7250 oh wow. I don’t have a channel 5 that fights.
Sometimes KHB35 will fight WXM44 after a thunderstorm for some reason. I usually get nothing on Ch2 but sometimes I'll get WXM68 and WNG574
Awesome catch! That must be hard. What about after 17:00 hours, you’d be home by then won’t you?
Yes but it'll be a problem for winter weather alerts and flood watches. Every New England forecast office likes to issue them between 2 and 3pm if they're needed 24-48 hours out
Cool 👍
They correct their test time window? What was it before?
The GYX weekly test before this one, they took almost an hour and a half to test and when they did, they said 11am to 1pm but it was just that one week.
Clark Barbara Jones Thomas Robinson Elizabeth
Nice catches I have subbed
Nice
I think the wind direction should be from the NE.
With North Atlantic water getting warmer, this isn't entirely out of the realm of possibility.
