I have a question for you, it is a bit long and I apologize in advance. I made these stain remover sticks and thought I would make some liquid laundry soap from 4 of the sticks. So I grated them and melted them in the slow cooker with about 8 cups of water, I then added 1/4 cup borax and stirred that in. I then decided that I would like it a bit thicker so I put a couple serving spoon size of the cooled liquid in a dish and added 2 drops of salt water. Well it turned the liquid to cream, so I added more liquid and got more cream. I did this several times and in the end when my little dish was full, I decided to just add that cream to the rest of the liquid and it all turned to cream from 2 drops of salt water. lol I now have 4 quart jars and 1 pint jar of cream laundry soap and I am not sure why it did that. Any ideas would be very helpful. Thanks in advance.

How would you do it with a hard / dense balm? Like a whipped, cooled shea-Cocoa balm?

Regarding your labels - if you change your paper printer settings so that it prints slower - this way the ink doesn't tend to smudge once dry. Love the boxes!

You could try looking into wheat straw plastic, if made correctly it's just wheat that is introduced to an enzyme that turns it into a plastic type material, but it can be composted in less than a year. The only issue with that is it's not clear, but it's the only non glass alternative I could find when I was looking

I’ve used carrots cucumber, avocado, adding them enhanced the soap and I Cpoped, the veggies heat up with the natural sugars, so conditioning give it a try. Congrats to your daughter and the soap is lovely

Hey there, I just got the glow in the dark pigment and was wondering if you would know if I could color some soap batter with it and drop swirl it in and have it still turn out.

I'm going to use Compostic Saran Wrap for my melt and pour soaps. I will still use shrink wrap, but I'm always looking for the most eco friendly shrink wrap.

Can you please share the weight amounts of each oil/butter and lye? I’m trying to make a small batch for a friend who harvested his own oil. But I have only ever made soap with olive oil and lard. Also, I am bad at the saponification formula. Any help is much appreciated!
