@nhifuu the Void shrines weigh 80 before you convert them. Once you convert them they weigh an impossible amount to carry.

@hauntedxd once you get the hang of things the game is amazing. The greatest issue I see is not knowing what enemies do what which can kill you thus ending your runs. But if you aren't playing perma death mode them none of that matters. The game is worth every single penny

How is it glitched? I am not aware of any bugs involving flamethrower.

Builds come and go when it comes to efficiency. At the time lag during war was prominent and this build worked while avoiding lag. Appreciate the opinion but please take note of release and patches.

I disagree, the majority of “mages” in this game all use the same abilities. It makes me happy to see alternatives to the meta, lots of cookie cutter specs in the game atm

I used the flamethrower build for the Spriggan Arena and Genesis and did amazing.

Depends on what you feel is unoptimal or not. There's a lot of server side lag going on in wars right now and of course dropping meteors and ice storm on point is gonna net you more damage which results in more score. Currently, the only real way not to experience lag in war is by attacking the backlines. With this build and a group a friends we can single out healers and kill them while winning a war in 6 mins so the question really is what you think optimal is?

@@MrSleepyAsian though you will certainly do damage, the entire build relies on the fact all the meeles in the opponents guild will freely allow a firemage to toggle a damage over time ability, heck, in every war am in, i got 10-20 meeles attacking our backline at all times, ofc, having the icegauntlet takes away risk, but the issue here is the damage. the meta atm, is not doing alot of damage, it is doing alot of damage instantly. you need to have mages and other dps save their nukes for the same time, cause that is the only way you gonna be able to kill heavyarmors in the heals on point. meteor rain has a clear use, dropping it on 20 people on point, problem ofc, is the lack of burst and mediocre dps even with all those 20 there, your better off just going fire pillar atm due to high burst, high dps with correct tallents and skills, decent range, and no cast time. hence why i said unoptimal, its just not what the meta demands with healers beeing as gross as they are atm, but hopefully the nerf they just recived will make it easier for everyone

@@Obtite The meta can differ on every server and on our server it's just Green and Yellow stacking on point and dying. This is without insta stacking all our aoes down to burst all of them down. Unfortunately, all of our opponents gave up and server hopped into another server so we're just waiting for more folks to drop by for war. Until then though I'll look more into what you're saying and see if I can build something based off insta burst of damage. Thanks for taking the time to reply! I appreciate it.

@@Obtite It's optimal as hell if you spent months as a VG IG mage. Same type of playstyle that focuses on getting in and out. Play from a range you still have autos, FB and pillar. Also flamethrower along with the IG=the best bruiser repellants. If you know how to dodge a bruiser will only try to blindside you, never head on with flamethrower. And the 10% fortify buff is very nice. The way I position myself is near healers (or maybe they come to me) cuz flamethrower is also a great peel. Manage your stamina well, block with your IG in gravs entomb if you must. Flamethrower is off meta but It has it's place for sure especially with the VG being more efficient than the FS, I feel like I'm not just sitting back poking ppl as much

Also on a light squishy healer, flamethrower will make them self heal, run or die which are all three great options for getting a healer to not heal their group/ball. Also this is a build that requires a good team to be effective teamfight wise tbh(though you can say that about the fire staff in general) good healers, good melee that follow up on your markings or creating those fat clumps on point or other mages for follow up damage or roots and oblivion in terms of VG. If my pillar or FB are on CD and I'm close to ppl I'm using flamer for that fortify, haste and damage. At range I'll be using heavies for my CDR. I actually been dying a lot less w flamer than burn out because you have to be extra concious of your attention and positioning, it's not just sitting back in pumping heavies, pillar and FB on repeat
