what is the tuning?
Hello, to play this piece you will have to go down the string from E grave to C.
Thank you so much, also this is absolutely gorgeous!!
salut . merci beaucoup
Muy hermosa versión amigo... Felicitaciones y saludos
My favorite song on the show. It’s just so beautiful. I learned it years ago but forgot it. Time to relearn.
The best one I've come across so far! How long did it take you to learn it?
Thank you!
Yes you are right! The aim of this video is not to defend an interpretation but to suggest fingerings allowing better continuity in the conduct of the voices. You are free to share your interpretation with us. Sincerely.
@@regisahi appreciate it playing what is written exactly as written is good to have as reference and how you should learn it as a baseline. I don’t mute the bass strings i let them ring out partially because i don’t have the mechanical skill to do it and partially because i like the sound. I should probably mute them like this to practice the skill and have the choice to let them ring be a musical decision instead of a technique one.
God bless bach and all those who play his music
super !
merci!
Great to use to learn and play along! Looks like Yoga for the fingers too! haha
Super !🙂
@@rdan06 Merci!
Thankyou for an excellent series of performances of these pieces by Stachak. I'm working my way through Book 1 and your videos are invaluable!
@@johnparker4203 I'm glad this is useful to you! Thank you.
Awesome
Congratulations! Great performance! 👏👏👏👏
Great playing. Is it necessary to tune it down to drop D?
@@RAM-wv1vr thank you! It’s standard tuning
Magnifique bravo
Great tutorial thank yu!
I think you should hit the highest and lower notes stronger
Wonderful performance 👏🎸👍
Thank you!
Wonderful performance 👏🎸👍
Thank you!
Great music and excellent performance 👏🎸👍
Falta velocidad
Scalderous chord use, reminiscent of the great Django!
Assertive fretboard gibberally using skill 🎉
Chameleonesque and dynamic rendition 👏
Interesting transcript for 2 guitars
Indescribable

Hello, I don’t understand?
amazing
Congrats! You have more scores from Germain DIgmeloff??
Very nice
Thank you so much for sharing your superb recording of this Suite - such a joy to listen to! Best wishes, Maria
As a guitar teacher I thank you for all these adorable pieces that you have given to the students of which we never tire. Thank you Maria!
@@regisah My best wishes to you again and to all your students! Maria
Nice! Thanks dude :)
Playing it this slow, makes me assume this guy is just an amateur first year guitar player!!!
Damn. I've been playing decades. This is about as fast as I can go on this anymore. I personally think it sounds better at this tempo.
Wonderful interpretation! Great audio and video as well, really nice for those who want to learn how to play the piece
After the notes have been learned, the next and more important is the dynamics and shading to bring out the beautiful counterpoints of Bach , without which its merely machine playin notes!
Thank you.
Fantastic!
Very strange ?! Should play the f on the fifth string 8th fret with fourth finger. No need for that giant stretch! Would be impossible to play at proper tempo
Thank you for your comment. This allows you to keep the same right hand fingering and consistent legato throughout the piece. Courage to you!
This is a proper tempo for the piece.
Excellent demonstration for student. Thank you very much Bernard Québec Canada
Very nicely played and especially the last two notes are wonderfully dampened. Bravo.
Merci!
Sublime
So nice and precise, wonderful Bach played with a guitar!
When Bach was alive the guitar was even made..
@@nikolasdebnar4842 there was the lute, though!
Thank you very much for sharing!
Ok. Next video is the Andreas Segovia interpretation . Slightly faster tempo…
Again I say.. it's ok to play at this extremely slow tempo. That is the wonderful thing about J.S. Bach. Any tempo works. But at the normal tempo that this piece is played at.. the fingering that this guy's uses would be impossible.
