Seeing the little smirk Chondra does when Claudio finally fully belts out the chorus at 3:20 never fails to make my eyes well up. Being a fan of this band since 2005, knowing the history of Claudio and Chondra, and the comfort of knowing everything Claudio and Coheed’s music has gotten me through, it’s hard not to get emotional. Claudio is a force of this generation in every way possible.

I would do anything to have my wife look at me like that.

Aside from the awesome voice and incredible guitar playing, have you noticed claudio's perfect mic technique? He's totally aware of how loud he is on each note and moves away from the mic whenever he's belting and close when he's quiet.

I met both Claudio and Chondra last year when I was on board the SS NEVERENDER, and they were the most wonderful people. Claudio was the nicest dude ever. It gives me great pleasure to see them performing together, and I seriously hope I get to see them again one day - maybe for an SS NEVERENDER part 2!!!

This brings back such amazing memories, not this particular show but this year and a couple of years earlier. The meat cellar they used to play in down in what’s now the fashionable Meatpacking district... probably the high point for live music, for me anyway. I miss all of these guys.

it's awesome to remember how all the songs were with out the re-arrangements and synths on the CHAWALALENG record. this video might just represent the best era of this superbly great band! unfortunately, i don't think many people these days remember this band, but i really remember when seeing them how special it was then, and still now.
