My controller also stops working while fighting...not just you. Hope they can fix this asap. I just exit battle and just enter again so I can use my controller properly.

There's nothing wrong in your controller. Its just that the controller option is wacked

I feel bad I didn't use mouse macro to autoclick because of ban fear. Fast forward to 2 weeks later I manage to brace through 80% Natlan exploration and I feel like those people deserve to get ban. It's slog, it's boring but it won't get you ban. Now, cosmetic mods just a step up for gameplay aesthetic (especially to slog through those long boring dialogues).
