The mother was very smart to tell the dad to shut up and let her say what happened. It's easy for a lawyer to argue she was convinced what to say vs what she has on her own free will. Though sadly that little comment by the father would eliminate anything she said beyond a reasonable doubt. Mom knew to stfu.
