At 09:14am the 8-minute flight took off in north-east direction from Saipan International Airport (SPN), previously Aslito Field and Isely Field, under supreme weather conditions, after a right turn heading south-west towards Tinian Island and after a left turn approaching runway in north-east direction, landing on Tinian International Airport (TIQ) at 09:22am. Also known as West Tinian Airport, this is the new civilian airstrip. The historic runways east of Tinian Island from which Little Boy and Fat Man took off to Hiroshima and Nagasaki can be seen mid video.
