"item charges" or "item charges improved" on the plugin hub

that's something that rarely happened to me and a few other people and we never got to the bottom of it. how often does that happen?

@@Fincher07 In the last 2 of the 3 instances I've setup for a session, I've had npcs agro my main. As long as they agro me once when I run by, they will every time. I've been able to fix the problem by logging out on main and then resetting npc agression and then the lure. Not sure if one or the other exclusively fix the issue but together they do. Don't have a problem after I do that once.

with the camera points plugin

this is mainly for hardcore ironmen who don't wanna enter deep wild. and there's 2 client because it makes hopping worlds faster.

just tried it. it's a bit slower than the method in the video. the run is long and you also have to recharge prayer every two laps

making and dropping the orbs at zmi? if so it's better to stick with that. i'd say this is only worth it for the people who bankstand craft all their orbs and don't 3 tick their buckets of sand

@@Fincher07 thanks, ya standard stuff like zmi/herbi/mh it looks quite appealing still just to cut down on the sand needed but over all it probably evens out in terms if time invested. thanks again for the quick reply too, nice vid

There's a tick cycle. you get a feel for it over time. -if you see the animation happens BEFORE your character moves, you are out of cycle. -if the animation happens AFTER your character runs, it is good and you are in cycle.

sorry for the late reply but it's normal to get lots of 30 xp drops especially if you're a lower mining level. as long as it resembles like the video and you're getting 60 xp drops too then you're doing it right. but i can maybe try to explain why if you care: "1.5 tick" methods imply that you can roll up to two resources for one (moving) 3 tick action. (nobody knows why moving 3 tick actions give two rolls as opposed to just standing still and doing a 3 tick action, just the way the game works). But basically, the amount of resource you get (and how often) will depend on the success chance of the rock/tree you are interacting with, and your success chance on that rock/tree depends on your level. and so for example if you are doing something like 1.5 tick redwoods, you will sometimes go a long time without getting a log because even with a crystal axe at 99, the success chance is only 14%. So to get two logs, you would need to successfully roll the 14% twice. it works the same with these calcified rocks though i dont think the wiki lists the success chance for them, but it's pretty high. and that's why something like 3 tick gems or granite is so good, because even though granite and gem rocks don't "store" multiple ores, you can still do moving 3 tick actions to roll twice on them which makes it possible to get a rock/gem first try almost every time

the only other altar you can use to make mud runes is using water runes on the earth altar which requires lumberyard teleports

@@Fincher07 thank you! Shazam kept giving me different incorrect songs and it was driving me crazy. The song has been stuck in my head for days while I've been grinding bone shards haha

there's no difference between doing knife-log or herb-tar, in the sense that they both start a 3 tick cycle. but the benefit of using a knife and log (for example, at sandstone mining) is that you don't need to carry a pestle and mortar which saves an inventory space. doing herb-tar can be good for beginners if you also carry an herb sack with extra herbs in case you mess up and make the tar

you carry on as if you got the xp drop anyway. you dont get out of cycle

Addy pickaxe won't work in 3 ticking the rocks on the left side since addy pick is 4 ticks. Rune is 3 ticks flat which makes it good for this method. you could also use a dragon pick which is also 3 ticks (with a 1/6 chance of 2 ticking the rock) but I personally think the timing can be annoying.
