Windchimes [Furnace NCR 8496 (Tandy 3-Voice) Original]
Wanted to try something a little different. Based on a real set of windchimes.
That probably sounds like a silly joke but the experience that inspired this was surprisingly emotional for me. As in- I was legitimately tearing up. And I'm still not sure why. I don't remember whether it was in the '22-'23 winter season or the '23-'24 one, but either way this has stuck in my brain for a while now. I don't think this tune captures the emotion I felt in that moment, but I think I still made something decent out of it. It at least captures *an* emotion. I hope you all like it :]

More filler, wooooo! Puyo Puyo on the Game Gear has an excellent soundtrack for the system. Mean Bean Machine... kinda doesn't. @@tauon_ because they also affect each other on the actual NES; it's called non-linear mixing, and the software NSFPlay allows you to visualise it :]

So, I listened to this track without even reading the description. I felt that it was incredibly emotional, to the extent that I did actually get concerned for you listening. Then I read the description. I can confirm to you, the emotion carries through extremely damn well. Good job, seriously. You're amazing at bringing the emotion out of this style of PSG.

@@ttwtunes I think that the SN7-derived series line is best played to its best as an emotional thing. But that's something a lot of musicians seemed to struggle with - which is understandable. You carry that aspect fantastically.

I loved the use of the extended third channel
I love this composition, it feels like some sort of melancholic end credits theme in a videogame. Not to mention the great sound design in this, especially the hi-hats and DPCM bass :)
