Two years on, there’s barely a day this doesn’t appear on my YT feed….Ive watched it a “fair puckle o’ times” 😂🎶🎵
Absolutely brilliant!
I just noticed that the Drummer also plays for the Ewan Galloway dance band.
All friends
Great stuff guys!! I used to play drums for Clive Laing's Angus county dance band in the 50's till 1962. Clive taught Steve the Accordion, and what a job he did!!
This brings back memories. I played at the Reid Hall and Village halls all over Angus and the Mairns With Clive Laing's Angus County Dance Band, in the mid 50's till 1962 when I left for a job in London. We used to have great fun with the all the regular Dancers who came from far and wide. We were certainly popular. Just noticed last 5 minutes that the Keyboard is the same guy who plays with the Ewan Galloway dance band.
Steven was taught accordion by my old band leader Clive Laing of The Angus County Dance Band. I played drums with them from Mid 1950's to 1962 when I moved to London for a job as a Cabinetmaker with an office furniture making company. Eventually got back into music in 1990 with a Ceilidh band, then went solo playing for Ballroom Sequence dancing all over Northern England and the Borders. Had to give up through ill health aged 80. I miss it so much.
And I bet your audiences miss you even more, Bill. Frank D'Souza, currently in Czechia
