Problem with migration is multi levelled, there is no consultation. Libertarians only debate on level one, where non libertarians can get lost on level two and three. For a libertarian, If you have the freedom to protest, you have to freedom to burn a flag. What valentine says is that when you make up rules things get arbitrary, and that's impossible with libertarians. It's almost like math. There are some inaccuracies in this podcast. The "pull factor" which is explained as "migrants getting everything for free" isn't true. Migrants (asylum seekers) don't get everything for free, sometimes they get loans. And the "pull factor" is significantly less important than the "push factor" (conditions in the countries they're forced to flee from). Also the statement that a lot of people with a migration background (Maroccan, Turkish etc.) massively voted for Wilders also isn't true. This was already debunked quite fast after the election results.

Maybe better to invite different persons with real knowledge of something. Robert can prepare himself before the discussion to ask the important questions, and than a real debate can take place. This is more like fooling around.

I love the podcast already. However, you should take more time for it. Like 1,5 - 2 hours. I think its a condition for a substantive debate. It looks a bit hasty now. Also, pick 1-3 topics, and really stick to it. Nevertheless, cant wait till next one!

I love the format, but I agree that Kayvan really needs to read up on things more before the podcast. Emotional arguments are the worst type of arguments, since you can't dispute what someone else feels. I'd love to understand the opinions and way of thinking of people I disagree with, but I can't do that when the arguments are fact-free, just emotional. Emotions can play a role, like enjoying Eurovision or not, but facts are the foundation of a discussion about this kind of thing. I'd love to see this continue, with both people growing and evolving over time. I'd love to see it in an episode when one of the two changes their opinion after ruminating over an issue for some time.
