That’s sophisticated chemically designed yet particle board design is not often trustworthy. Water travels up a 250 foot tall tree making it grow and stay beautiful. Wood supplies making a house from over a century ago can survive rain leaks with basic repairs and paint. A 1902 house I grew up in had 2x4 that was 2” by 4” and strong. As I was taught by a PhD chemist : Tung Oil chemically bonds into the wood and makes it waterproof, so well to apply for making furniture wood beautiful and durable and it is organic. That’s his and my furniture repair and new projects supply. Most particle board is hardly better than ash like sawdust with fluid glue and isn’t water resistant as well as a college book is. Only some projects are appropriate with particle board but not in a bathroom or kitchen since any water leaks and the steam from a dishwasher destroys it. Wood is not appropriate as calling it a renewable energy source when your healthy maple syrup trees are burned like in Vermont for energy use. A century later it is then grown back. CO2 is a blanket effect not hot like methane is because it burns in the water or atmosphere then it becomes CO2. Organic debris washed into lakes or rivers are eaten by microorganisms and they fart methane. Look up how much energy heat a tablespoon amount of methane will release. Trees and even just branches from windstorms can make the best possible furniture for a lifetime so let’s take a next mindset approach. Ciao.

Despite having the video on full volume as well as the volume on my lap-top it was difficult to hear the commentary accompanying this visual presentation. Even with what I could hear the volume still varied significantly which suggested to me that the narrator was not speaking into the microphone. The visuals were good.

Hello, thanks for the vid!! I picked up the Ikea one and was wondering what the difference was when I saw it was Blum. Ikea’s actually too short of a cord for me, would the blum 26’/8M servo drive extension/electrical cords and inserto connector still work with the Ikea wires?

I’m doing a total remodel of my kitchen and doing all the work myself from demo down to studs, building the cabinets, installing the cabinets, and installing the quartzite countertops, backsplash, and toe kick, as well as installing a farmhouse sink including an air switch for the garbage disposal. I also made two floating shelves fabricated from slab claro black walnut which is a highly sought after rare wood specifically found in the Central Valley of California up to Washington l, with amazing beauty. Great video!

What happens when you have a broken drawer front adjuster, how do you replace them?

You could add an angle bracket to the centre upright and the shelf to stop the sagging.

What is the size of the screw holes?

I wouldn't use water based adhesive on MDF, or at minimum seal it first.

How many adapters do you need for multiple bi-fold doors?

This is great! I would love to see a more complete in depth tutorial. I’m looking to redo my cabinets and make a double bookcase in either teak or rosewood. Either is only affordable if I use veneer and do it myself. 😊
