Can the edgebanding be stained

This is just the most ingenious product I’ve ever seen. I mean for somebody to think of that… what are some other things this kind of technology could be applied to?

This is excellent. A hinge had come apart (perhaps from leaning on the door while looking for a drip under the sink). There was a tiny spring and a small metal button. The video clearly showed how these fit together, so I was able to re-assemble the hinge. Easier than a Rubik's Cube! :-)

Original Face frame cabinets start with frame. Ox is dadoed and rabbited to back.

I am designing cabinets for my workshop and want to use these type of hinges. Do any of the manufacturers provide CAD (Solidworks) models for that I can use in my drawings?

I have nothing but problems with my cabinets' hinges. The plastic bits eventually crack. They're constantly coming loose then my doors are no longer level. I've replaced many of them and still have issues with the new ones eventually. My son checked every one in July and replaced several. I already had issues with two of them in November. I have no one here, like kids, handling them roughly. Not sure what to do at this point.

How do you MOVE the brackets if you don't like where they are? I am struggling with repositioning the shelves because I can't get the brackets out.

ive adjusted them a few times does that mean i have to replace the hinge. hinges are about 20 yrs old how do you know when they have to be replaced ?

I am replacing my 20 year old, consealed Amerock hinges with NEW consealed Amerock quiet-close hinges. Only one problem.....the holes do not line up for the new hinges. Is it ok, to remove the plastic dowels that came on the new hinges and just screw them directly into the oak cabinet?

Do these work with 3/4” drawer thickness?

I read your advice that it is better to use a dowel screw with particle board cabinets in one of the comments below. I think that advice would be good to include in your video so that folks with particle board cabinets who are viewing the video will get that important info up front. I guess it should be obvious but it wasn’t to this newbie - I was afraid to drill the 8mm hole for the dowel in the particle board so used wood screws instead. We’ll see how long they last! I saved the dowels so I can use them if I see any cracking of the cabinet or loosening of the hinge.

Waste of time

My cabinet doors are attached, so I would need the pie-shaped lazy susans. However! My cabinet is rounded on the inside. Meaning, my counters are off and the back of the cabinet is covered with a rounded piece of backing material (flexible wood-like material). There are no corners in my cabinets. Would the measuring process be the same as for a typical pie-shaped lazy Susan insert? The shelves in my unit are currently plastic and cracking from the weight of stuff stored inside, making these cabinets sort of not so user friendly. I am looking to remove the plastic shelves and insert heavier metal ones to hold an appropriate amount of items. MANY THANKS!!!

I do not understand your instructions. I’m not actually sure what an aligned door should look like in relation to the frame it’s in. I struggle with adjusting one screw, pausing to see to where it has moved, and then adjusting the next screw(s). However, if I have not adjusted the first screw correctly, the second (and third) screws cannot be moved into the right position. I have had some IKEA cabinets for several years and I have abandoned trying to get the doors straight because I can’t seem to adjust the right screw in the right way and in the right sequence to get all 3 of them to accomplish the desired result of a straight door. And once I can’t get one door straight, it makes it even more difficult to get adjacent doors to line up. Can you help?

I would put the tape on the back of the handle and then poke a hole on the back of the tape and then you will have the measurements. Work smart not hard.

My vanity has suspended slides (i.e., they are only attached on the ends; there's no middle board). Can I still use there slides? Must I add a board into which I screw in new slides?

Can it put mortises in miter joints? Does it have reference pins to locate mortises against the edge of joints like the domino? Can you use the same knockdown fittings as the domino?
